stuck at NBC for over 7 months..
Is anyone else in the same boat as me?
My priority date is June 2023, I submitted my 485 in October 2025, and completed biometrics in November. Since then, I haven’t received any updates — no field office transfer, nothing...
I saw a silent update on 4/28, but it seems like most people received that around the same time, and there’s been no movement since.
It seems like most cases have been transferred to the field office at least, even if they haven’t reached approval yet, which makes the waiting even more concerning.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and could offer any advice or insight? My attorney says there’s nothing to do but wait, but waiting without any sense of a timeline is incredibly stressful…

I-765 filing @ I-485 Stage
hello, I'm curious to know. Has anyone in this community NOT filed their EB3 EAD I-765 with the I-485 and done that later after i485 approval?
From what I see from many consultants and general public knowledge, people prefer to file both together as it shows good intent that one wants to work for their EB3 employer.
But what if you have let's say F1 OPT EAD and you want to continue working that job until your I-485 actually is approved. Assuming your eb3 employer is informed and is fine with you starting a bit later. Justification: your F1 status is in less risk in this way.
Has anyone done this route/ got the green card I-485 approved in EB-3 Unskilled / or is doing this way?
Let's discuss..

did anyone experience this? if so can you share me what are your actions. during my interview the officer told me he can’t locate my medical (from k1) he told me not to do anything like i-693 until he finds my missing medical records in their system. day after my interview my status changed into rfe then all of a sudden it changed into being actively reviewed by uscis. I didn’t received any rfe mail in my documents or physical letter, does this mean i he found my medical and I don’t need to redo my medical?
card received 🇯🇲
To God be the glory 🙏 10 year green card received I am so happy and grateful who could it be but god 😃 I pray everyone that’s waiting will be approved soon, thank you guys so much helping me throughout this journey I appreciate you all🙏

asylum-based I-485 interview
Hi everyone,
I have an upcoming interview for my asylum-based I-485 application at the USCIS Columbus, Ohio field office.
Has anyone recently had their interview there? If so, how was your experience, and what types of questions were asked? Any tips on what to expect or how to prepare would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
