hey guys I got granted for my I-485 yesterday, after a very long, difficult and complicated journey..
** my I-485 Journey granted by the court:
I wanted to share my timeline:
My case was not simple at all. It had court history, BIA history, a prior removal order, a remand, background check delays, and my first attorney was the main problem after leaving him and went looking for new attorneys I’ve called so many offices and honest to god non of them was willing to help or take my case because it was so complicated and some of them said it’s hard to win but I never give up and I kept looking until i found that new attorney I have he is the best and we did it together. he was always professional and replying back always to my question and even after his office hours.
I really do Thank him so so much for everything he did to my case and his price was so reasonable & affordable.
, trusted in Allah, and trusted my attorney.
My timeline:
• in around 2016 — Entered the United States with a B1/B2 visa.
• March 2019 — I was placed in immigration proceedings.
• November 2021 — The Immigration Judge ordered me removed after messing the filing deadline due to an attorney issues.
• December 2021 — My case was appealed to the BIA.
• November 13, 2024 — My VAWA I-360 was approved.
• December 2024 — The BIA remanded my case back to the Immigration Court, after my new attorney contacted the BIA, let them know about my approval.
•in around December 2025- the IJ sent the case back to the BIA requesting 3 judges panel to review and did not act on the motion to terminate that was signed by the DHS to terminate my case.
• October 2025 — My case was sent back again to Immigration Court after BIA action.( finally) here the IJ acted and set me for hearings.
• February 2026 — I had a Master Calendar Hearing. DHS opposed termination, so the court decided to move forward with my I-485 in court.
• April 2026 — My attorney filed my new I-485 packet with the Immigration Court and paid the New fees.
• May 18, 2026 — I completed biometrics.
• May 19, 2026 — I had my Individual Hearing for the I-485. DHS did not object but the only thing was missing was my BCR, I got set for new hearing.
• June 5, 2026 — The Immigration Judge granted my I-485.
please guys do not give up God is good and keep it up, your time will come and do not let the news spread negativity. just think positive and always god is good.
I wish you all the best.

I612 waiver (hardship)
Hi everyone,
I filed my I-612 hardship waiver through the Texas Service Center in March 2025 and have not received any updates yet.
Has anyone else who filed an I-612 hardship waiver with the Texas Service Center around the same time (before or after March 2025) received an approval, RFE, or any other update? If so, would you mind sharing your filing date and timeline?
Thank you in advance for any information you can share. #I612
Green Card
Hey my fellow VAWA family, a little update using my Green Card I got through VAWA for the first time I travel from Philadelphia internationally airport to my home country (Jamaica) and the only question was asked when I return how long was my trip. Guys if you have your Green Card through VAWA don’t afraid to travel. If I should listening to social media with all these lawyers and documents preparer’s I would not travel.
