Green Card
Hey my fellow VAWA family, a little update using my Green Card I got through VAWA for the first time I travel from Philadelphia internationally airport to my home country (Jamaica) and the only question was asked when I return how long was my trip. Guys if you have your Green Card through VAWA don’t afraid to travel. If I should listening to social media with all these lawyers and documents preparer’s I would not travel.

Hi friends, I filed a writ of mandamus lawsuit for my asylum-based I-485. My application has been pending for 700 days. The government attorney requested a 45-day extension. Is that a good sign?

taxes
Hey, I wanted to share something that’s been on my mind. My abuser and I haven’t lived together for three years. I hire a tax prep guy who knows we aren’t together, that I make all the income, and have my child who lives 24/7. We’re legally married though. He said he would claim me as head of household and told me it wouldn’t be an issue because of the situation. But when I checked the transcripts, for the last three years he’s been listing me as unmarried head of household. I read online that this is correct since we’re separated and child lives with me, but I’m worried USCIS might see it as a problem. Just wanted to get your thoughts on this. if I should adment my taxes or find another tax guys since it’s kinda shady
Reentry
I’m currently outside of the US, my green card will expire in 2 weeks and I have applied for the I-751 to have my condition removed. I do not have my physical receipt notice, I only have access to the online PDF version. CBP states you may re-enter the US with the expired green card and Receipt notice, would I be denied boarding if I printed this receipt notice out and presented at the airport?
