hello everyone!!! please I have a question,so am a green card holder (10 years) I will turn citizen in two years but my question is I want to petition for my mum cuz she’s a cancer patient and I really want her to come due to her health issues and also my fiancé is back home too and our wedding is December so I wanna ask can I petition for my mum first and after the wedding can I petition for my husband to be as well or should I wait and finish one before doing the other?

this is really getting to me! I can’t understand why this long process to be able to live your life! 😭 just call they say my case is now at Texas from Vermont but still nothing charge. how much longer will this go on?

EAD Issues
I had an F1 OPT EAD which expired last month. However I applied for a change of status through marriage. Can I apply for a new job with my EAD USCIS receipt and my expired EAD for i9 verification and how do I apply for an expedited case for my EAD.

EAD lost in mail
My EAD application was approved. I received the approval notification and was immediately followed up with a tracking number of the package containing the EAD card. My wife checked USPS tracking daily and when it finally said that it had been delivered to the mailbox, it wasn’t there. I checked twice within the day and I’m beginning to suspect a mistake had been made and that very important piece of mail had been lost. What is the best approach to solve this without having to pay and request for a replacement? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Risk of only relying on EAD card
I have an O1 visa and I got recently my EAD card. My green card is NIW and im considering getting a better job in the same field. How risky is it to get the new job with EAD? i worry that if my i140 gets denied, I will be out of status. what would be my options then? any advice?
VAWA
I ran into a problem that’s personal with my lawyer. tell me what to do if you was in my place
i filed for VAWA about 2 years ago and that’s because my ex husband was abusive and he has multiple relationships outside our marriage, he got caught multiple times until I filled for divorce, anyways, one of those chicks he was with, I had pictures of them and all the proofs, I found her working as a front desk at my lawyer office and it blew my head. I’m here bcuz of people like her and my ex.
and right now it’s so uncomfortable, I told my lawyer that his employee is one of the girls I saw with my ex and all he did was assured me she won’t be able to access any of my info.
I’m still not happy that she’s there. what should I do?
