Hi all, Please anyone experienced any issue with expired home country passport during the interview process? Mine just expired and I was just scheduled for an interview today. I don’t know if I can get it renewed before my interview date of 30th. Do they actually check the home country passport? Thanks

Expedited Request
I need advise? I didn't request Expedited to my case in October, I don't know how it happened but they received expedited Request, then I asked Emma " I didn't Request this expedited to my case can you cancelled it" and answer was "no I can't cancelled it: you have to wait !!! the worse part is they told me My process it will be delay coz you requested expedited so we have to review your documents First . I don't have any documents that I can submit now. However , they wait me 60 days to submit support documentation for expedited Request, if I ignored it my case will be stuck there for 60 days no moving forward, so would you'll advise me to send them a letter that indicated I didn't Request it ??? or I just sit and wait??
NB: I requested expedited in September and I got denied in October

A little bit about myself.
Came here on h4 in 2011, aged out and been out of status since 2016. Parents got their GC and applied for me in March 2019. I-130 got approved a few months ago, I’m June of this year 🙏 but been told I can only do consular processing :/
Months later, Haiti got designated for tps which I applied for. My case is being reviewed right now, but I was wondering if it’s even worth it to apply for AP? I’ve been told I might face a reentry bar even with an AP. Please let me know about your experience. Thank you.

timeline I797C
I sent my status adjust august 30. I haven’t received the receipt I797C yet. The normal timeline for it is between 2 to 3 weeks. I’m waiting more than that , almost 8 weeks. Meanwhile I don’t receive it I can’t following my case due I haven’t the receive number. Someone else has the same situation or have an update timeline for the I797C?? Thanks.
