Possibility of I-140 Premium Process before J-1 waiver
Hi!
I am on J-1 (waiver pending with DoS from last five months) and filed I-140 the previous week. Will my waiver hamper if I go for the I-140 'Premium Process' (PP)? I know a waiver is not required for filing I-140, but if I go for PP now, will USCIS give me a waiver or not?
Let me know if anyone has gone through this situation earlier.
WHY NVC
As of June till now anytime I hear from NVC then they are telling me to send documents that have been sent already then clock resets. I have sent marriage certificate, termination of previous marriage cert, biodata of passport, police cert more than once and clock keep resetting. Anytime I sent what they require it come as complete and submitted. Yet Just yesterday Nov 1, I got an email from NVC and they said I should send petitioners termination of previous marriage certificate again, I did send instantly, and submitted. Nov 2, I was just there and I said let me double crosscheck again on my ceac application and see if I submitted everything and there and behold I saw incomplete again saying missing passport biodata and police cert. I sent to them and submitted. Meanwhile Nov 1 everything was there submitted and accepted So if I had not crosschecked the following day, I will be there thinking that all is well meanwahile I didn’t even get any email on the Nov 2, to submit something I have sent 4 months ago. Why are they doing this. Is this a game to keep slowing me down and not DQ me or what? Why should being with spouse be a punishment like this. Now I have to keep checking my ceac application everyday to see if I need to send something. Am really sad. Now something I have sent in June the clock keeps resetting and in November still nothing just resetting and resetting and resetting. Waiting again for 60 days is not a joke. Already I expedited cos of the email I got from his hospital that husband was at emergency ward between life and death situation yet local embassy denied it saying I need to follow the queue when DQed, my visitors visa too was refused because the officer said I will not come back knowing that am going there to assist husband medically. I have children behind going through consular processing same as mine why will I abandon them and never come back. Why all this it’s not fair at all.
