VAWA Timeline (so far)
Hi, guys!
I submitted my case on Nov/12/24.
I filed for the Work Permit, Advance Parole and Adjustment of Status along with the VAWA.
I got the receipts for them on Nov/20/2024.
On Dic/03/24 I got two notices, the first one said that the case was going to be moved from Nebraska to the National Benefit Center in order to speed up processing, the second one said that they were using my biometrics from an old case so I wouldn’t have to show do them again.
On Dic/18/24 I got a Prima Facie Determination on the case.
Do you guys have any guesses on how long would the EAD take after I got the Prima Facie and how long does the NBC take to approve cases? I’d appreciate it!
I’ll try to update any changes on my case.

Hi everyone, I just have a quick question and would really use your help, I fear my vision might be going bad and I feel I might need glasses soon. I was granted a Prima facie for my VAWA case, will I be able to apply for Medicaid or any insurance? how would I go about doing so? or are there any other ways of me getting my eyes tested and possibly prescription glasses? VAWA Expedite
Hello,
Did anybody here try to expedite your I-360 because you want to join the military before? I have hold I-485 since Feb 21 and filed I-360 in Feb 22 but nothing happens yet and I am so tired of waiting. Please share your ideas. I’m in Houston, TX. Thanks a lot!

Green card was delivered!
Hey guys, I had promised I’d share with y’all when I receive my green card. So yea I did picked up my card today! Card was approved on the 7th of Dec 24 and was delivered on the 14th, approximately 1 week from when it said “new card was being produced”. I pray and wish you all success on this journey. 🙏
