RFE
Hi lawfully, has anyone received RFE from USCIS requesting for more evidence. The case was not physical abuse is based on emotional and psychological abuse and they're requesting for battered/ extreme cruelty or more strong evidence.

Expedite Process
Hello everyone, my EAD renewal application was submitted over 4 months ago and my case was recently transferred to the Vermont Service Center.
I'd like to expedite the process as my current EAD expires in November, which will also impact my driver's license. Can anyone guide me on the steps I should take? I currently work in a pharmacy, and I believe this qualifies me to request an expedited processing.#vawa #ead

I submitted my case April 29, 204 for all forms for VAWA to Nebraska centre.
I have received my case receipts, prima facie, biometrics and now waiting for the rest.
Anyone with a similar timeline that has their EAD already or that submitted in April 2024?

For those who have gone through this process, could you share what steps you took, what you included in your request, and what you said in the email?
I’m in a particularly difficult situation right now. I have a 5-month-old child with someone else, not my abuser, but I was also facing abuse from my child’s father. I’ve managed to escape that situation, but I feel like I need to go somewhere else for a while to catch my breath. I have a good job, but the emotional toll of everything has left me feeling overwhelmed and depressed. I really need to see my family and friends overseas to help me regain some strength.

Update
I applied for VAWA back in September 2021, sending a full package to USCIS that included a work permit, travel document, and green card application. I received my first work permit in 2022, which expired in 2024. So far, I've received three prima facie determinations and no Requests for Evidence (RFE). I have traveled to my home country four times without any issues returning. I submitted a renewal application for my work permit and travel document in January 2024, and only the work permit was approved today. My VAWA case remains pending. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Please share your story.

I can finally feel a breath of fresh air. Vawa i-485 finally got approved. I waited till this time to share the news because my second son's green card was still pending approval despite approving mine and that of his older brother. My Blood pressure is stage 2 Hypertension now.
After started taking the diabatic medication,
I happened have double vision unable to see properly.
Seen an Ophthalmologists, he is referring me to neurosurgeon followed by CT / MRI.
I wish there is a light end of the tunnel, and hope it not a train.

I 485 Returned
Hi, I applied for Vawa i360, I485, i765 and I131 and $630 Fee for Advance parole on July 3rd This year, I got Receiving letter for 765 And 360 on July 13th. But they Sent me Fee back and Some pages of i485 Back. It says Money not needed. But what would be the reason they Returned first 4 pages of i485 form too. Vawa filled in wrong section HELP
I submitted my i360 in August 2022, once my oldest attorney filled, she marked the section Vawa Self Petitioning Parant of USCIS or Son, instead Self Petitiong Spouse of Abuse. Everything else was signed with spouse of abuse. I received 2 prima facies, but I'm devastated afraid of my i360 can be denied because of that. Please help me. Im devastated

Financial Aid, School and Expired Prima Facie
My financial aid Pell Grant is on hold due to an expired prima facie determination. It expired on March 11, 2023, with no updates since. My lawyer contacted the Vermont office to send a new one, but we haven't received anything from them so far. I am so sad and stressed.
I have two questions:
1- What document can I give to my school to allow me to study, like proof of being a legal non-eligible citizen?
2- Is there any way I can get access to my Pell Grant? It's literally in my student account, but my school won't distribute the funds due to the expired prima facie determination
