Got K-1 FTP today thru email
Hello community,
After several inquiries to the NVC I received my K1 FTP thru email today.
The letter says my approved USCIS case has been transferred to the local consulate/embassy. (this could take several weeks in says) I have a case number now.
what should I expect next? how long more?

hello I am very concern about getting an appointment for the k1 visa. I’m checking and I can’t find appointments the webpage doesn’t let me pay either because there are no available appointments is that normal … for those of you who have been able to schedule an appointment how long did it take ? #ankara #k1 #turkey #ankarak1 #ankarainterview
Case was sent to the Department of State
Today status changed to “Case was sent to the Department of State” I did not get “Case Approved” status. It went straight to what I just wrote. I’m guessing is the same thing as approved.
What comes next? Please detail your answer.
Also, anyone knows how the wait times are for US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia.

•March 20- Public Inquiry -NVC Case # (MNL***)
•March 21 - DS-160 and paid Visa Fee
•April 10 - K1-FTP letter (email)
•APRIL 12, 2024-CASE READY!

Fiancée (I-129F) Application at NVC
Hello,
My Fiancée I-129F was approved on Feb 09, 2024. How long will it take NVC to send a Welcome Letter ?
Also, how soon will NVC forward my documents to the embassy?
My fiancée approval notice is valid from Feb 09, 2024 - June 08, 2024. I have contacted NVC, for two months, this has been their response
The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition from U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. Your NVC case number is LNDXXXXXXX. Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission.
All case parties will be notified when this petition is forwarded to the assigned U.S. Embassy/Consulate General.
