Confusing I-130 Approval while pending concurrent I-485 (F2A)

Hello, I received my I-130 approval in the mail earlier today. It states the following: ""The above petition has been approved. However, you did not indicate on the petition whether the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate or will apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Therefore, USCIS has retained the petition. If the beneficiary intends to apply for adjustment of status in the United States, they should submit a copy of this notice, along with a Form 1-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status." The thing is, I confirmed in my I-130 application that I specified that I am applying for AOS while in the USA. I also submitted I-130 concurrently with I-485. Is this a mistake on USCIS end or is this a generic response? I'm just not sure if I need to do anything further. I am married to a US green card holder. My priority date is Aug 2022 so I am aware that I am a few years off the current F2A date in the visa bulletin and not expecting a I-485 approval anytime soon. #i130 #i485 #approval #uscis #aos

This long wait is killing me. When I contact USCIS agents through Emma, I’m told case is processing normally and I can not submit a “case processing outside normal hours” until January of 2025 #waiting #i130 #i485

my progress tab changed

although I am waiting for approval on my i485. yesterday when I logged in, under my i765 “my progress” tab it showed time remaining “1 week” for the first time ever. Then when I logged in today, that changed back to taking longer than expected. this made my hopes go back down 😔 #i485 #i765 #myprogress #1week

Do you know what’s happening with my case. I have I-140 (EB2-NIW) approved and PD is current. Recently many cases applied in 2023 are getting approved. But no update on my case. Please share your experience if you are in the same boat. Aug. 2022: Submitted I-485, I-765, I-131, I-693 and received by NBC. Sep. 2022: Fingerprints were taken. Oct. 2022: Approved I-765 Nov. 2022: Approved I-131 Dec. 2022: I-485 transferred to Orland Field Office (came to know via Emma chat). Not local field office May. 2023: I-485 returned to NBC (came to know via Emma chat) May. 2023: I-485 transferred to California Service Center to “speed up” processing. Got notice by mail. Jun. 2023: I-485 transferred to NBC after preliminary review completed. Got notice by mail. Jun. 2023: I-485 transferred to Portland Maine Field Office (came to know via Emma chat). Not local field office No update after June. #i485

VAWA approved with I-485 pending over 4 years

My I-485 was originally submitted in June, 2019 for marriage based (receipt date: 06/17/2019). Unfortunately, things got terrible right after the marriage and turned into serious domestic abuse case with 6 month protective order. My attorney helped me to submitted I-360 for VAWA in 01-20-2020 and we still went to my I-485 interview on 01-30-2020. The officer who interviewed me was acknowledged my situation. I completed all the interviewed questions and the officer said my I-485 will be transferred under my VAWA per my attorney's request. My I-360 was approved in Oct 2020 but I received the approval notice in 03/17/2021. Since then, my I-485 has been pending. I went to USCIS updated the fingerprints once in mid 2021. In March 2022, the system shows my case was transferred to a different office with jurisdiction. My attorney also received a notice saying my case was transferred to NBC. In Oct 2022, USCIS system said "fingerprints were updated" for my I-485. In June 2023, my case was officially moved into "out of normal processing time". My attorney submitted a case inquiry on 07/05/2023 but we heard nothing. By the end of Aug 2023, my attorney sent both mail and email to USCIS with a copy of my I-360 approval and I-485 receipts with a letter described my case to USCIS. Yesterday (09/11/2023), I submitted a form to my local congressman's website to ask for help. We do hope we will hear something positive soon. However, what else can we do if we still hear nothing? When can I file a writ of mandamus? I am so tired of this long waiting. #VAWA #I485 #outofnormalprocessingtime

I-485J filed - How long is the wait?

After 180 days of I-140 approval and more than 650 days of pending I-485, I decided to transfer the underlying petition from another company by filing I-485J. My case was transferred to different offices several times. How long is the wait? Anyone can share their experience/s? #I485 #485J

WHERE IS MY GREEN CARD

Sorry for yelling in the subject line. I just wanted your attention lol. Currently in the Marriage Green Card Process. My PD is September 2022. I submitted 485, 130, 131, and 765. I received the combo card on 7/19, the USCIS received my Response to RFE for 485 on 6/9. The case was back to "being actively reviewed" on 7/19, but I haven't heard from the response since. I contacted Emma 60 days after they received my RFE response and asked for the Service Request. Emma also said my case is right now in the Chicago Field Office, but she can't check which state it is in. My i130 is also approved by the way. This is very frustrating as it's taking way longer than expected. I see so many people receiving their green cards even when their PD is months later than mine.... :( #i485 #i130 #marriage #greencard

How long does it take USCIS to update the stays once medical RFE is received? I have submitted for over 5 days and it has not be updated that my medical RFE was received.. am worried usps says it was delivered #i485 #eb2niw
