Need advice;
Greetings everyone,
I have submitted congressional request on March 12, 2026 for EAD C09, since my H1B will be terminated by March 31, 2026.
I wont be having EAD
No health insurance
No drivers license since there in no EAD.
I have a neurological issues in my brain.
Need medication for
High blood pressure
Blood thinners
per-diabetic medication
and other.
How long will it take for EAD to be approved?
I need insurance for my preexisting conditions.
Marketplace says $400 per month for health insurance.
I'll be out of funds in 2 months.
Maybe it is time for to give up and get out of this mess!
Please advise.

I am on H1B and, and it going to expire soon.
I am moving to TX, and I would like to know the procedure for getting DL in Houston TX with my self petition.
Like I mentioned, my H1B is going to expire soon. How do I make a congressional enquiry for my pending C09 EAD.
Once my H1B expire I won't be having health insurance, and I have medical needs.
Could someone can help or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

In your experience, is it a good idea to submit the I-485 electronically, or is it still safer and more reliable to file by mail (paper filing)?

Hello Everyone,
My PD is Nov30 2013 EB3-Skilled India. My I485 has been pending since Dec2020 & then the dates had subsequently retrogressed. As per Jan2026 visa bulletin the EB3 Skilled FAD is at Nov 15 2013 and I am expecting my PD to be current for Feb2026 visa bulletin. However on Dec8 2025 I received the following status update on my case: Case was updated to show fingerprints taken & then till today no further updates. What does this update mean when the priority date is not current yet? Has anybody gone through this recently? #uscis #i485 #fingerprints #eb3 #india

VAWA was approved in November 2024. Medicals were received in February 2025. The case was transferred to the Boston office, and after 10 months, I am still waiting for a decision. From what I've heard, it seems like the Boston office is taking the longest. Please comment below if your case is located in Boston and you are still waiting for a decision.
