Driver license question TX
Hello Everyone, I hope you are doing well.
I am on H1B and, and it going to expire soon.
I am moving to TX, and I would like to know the procedure for getting DL in Houston TX with my self petition.
Like I mentioned, my H1B is going to expire soon. How do I make a congressional enquiry for my pending C09 EAD.
Once my H1B expire I won't be having health insurance, and I have medical needs.
Could someone can help or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a driver’s license with your EAD and also proof of address. You can use your lease agreement in this situation. For medical insurance, you can check marketplace to see I f you qualify.

Market place enrollment is over. You may have to go direct to provider if they want to quote it. Your 360 date is way over the processing times, did you gave a thought of doing inquiry on 360. Also why did you waited so long to get EAD, you could have gotten EAD even with an active H1b.

Thanks guys, I received my DL using H1B.
@Mein Gandu, my attorney applied C31 EAD, and i was not aware that I will be approved only after Vawa approval.
Later I have applied for C09 and waiting since 330 days.
Nothing so far.

Send a congressional inquiry that usually helps. also check if ombudsman is around if they are still around it will definitely help. You are so close to the 360 approval though. Its almost time for that.
