Need advice;
Greetings everyone,
I have submitted congressional request on March 12, 2026 for EAD C09, since my H1B will be terminated by March 31, 2026.
I wont be having EAD
No health insurance
No drivers license since there in no EAD.
I have a neurological issues in my brain.
Need medication for
High blood pressure
Blood thinners
per-diabetic medication
and other.
How long will it take for EAD to be approved?
I need insurance for my preexisting conditions.
Marketplace says $400 per month for health insurance.
I'll be out of funds in 2 months.
Maybe it is time for to give up and get out of this mess!
Please advise.

apply EAD under C9 category get a job, you did all this anylsis , do what it really gonna help…! focus on something else and this will be fine one day !! GC does change life , try not to make your whole life dependent on it …!

obviously your ead case got lost in transition due to misinformation and mismanagement. but you are almost at the finish line. do not give up. you can still have surgery and get on payment plan this will ease off payment stress. there is no way to IM or PM on lawfully or I can talk in person.

2024 my medical bill was 89K, fortunately insurance covered it, and I'm still paying the copay of 14K.
I cannot imagine my self without insurance.
If I have EAD, I'll able to get a job. I have 2 masters and 2 PhD.
Not sure, when that EAD is gonna be.

Never give up, God will make a way where there seems to be no way. There is light at the end of the tunnel. You can get you driver’s license without an EAD. Check the DMV website, there are list of other documents you can present to get your learner’s permit then you can proceed to DL.
