Is there someone share the same EAD time line?
I submitted family-based immigration on 04/28(pd) and submitted an expedite request on June. biometrics was taken on 05/31. No updates from uscis after then, even with my expedite request.
How can I know if my expedite request is denied or not? Will failed expedite request slow my normal processing?
I am in Manhattan and my case was processed at NBC. Any advice or experience is welcome! thank you!#ead #ead expedite

Hello, I filled on April 21 2022, has anyone received at least the EAD? I’m afraid my case is being ignored lol 😆 Also is there a way USCIS can tell you your place in the ranking? I checked my account and apparently you can send inquiries but I’m not sure if they actually give answers #ead #aos

Hi All, I have a question 2days back I raised a request and had a chat with the live agent, I didn't know how to put in one word to them cause was so emotional, I explained that I'm a new mom and I need to take care my newborn baby and having a lot of stress due to no job where I have to pay the mortgage, other payments, baby expenses due to stress I'm not able to concentrate on my newborn - And he just asked me to select a category I just said I'm not sure could be Financial Loss and needs to take care of my baby My question will the live agent will send the step by step chat I had with him or just a one-line description as financial loss category? Highly appreciate all your response and May God bless you. #EAD #I765 #Expediate
EAD Expedite (AOS spouse)
I submitted an expedite request on 08/09 based on Non-Profit & Healthcare categories. I got the support of a congresswoman on 08/20. I haven’t heard anything yet aside from the first email saying the process is under review on 08/15 (e-mail). Does anyone know how long could take for an response with the support of a congresswoman? Anyone in a similar situation? #EAD #Expedite

EAD - Expedite request denied
Hi,
I requested yesterday to expedite my EAD expedite. It got denied today, without asking any evidence.
I did it via Emma, grounded to financial loss.
This is my reason (what I said):
“I’m looking to expedite my EAD as I'm on the verge of losing a job offer. Both I-765 and I-458 applications have been pending for over 180 days. And it’s very unlikely to be adjudicated before the end of year, based on the projected processing times listed on USCIS's website.
In this tough economy, I managed to get a full time job offer with company X. on 06/22/2022, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to join them due to the lack of an approved EAD.
On 08/12/2022 I got another offer, this time from company Y, and it requires me to start soon, on 09/12/2022.”
what is wrong with it?
when is plausible to request expedite again?

Eb1-c GC recieved yesterday - sharing timeline and other info
#eb1-c #I-485 #I-765 #I-131 #I-140 #combo #EAD #AP
This community was so supportive that I am sharing as much as I can . I was eb1-c (multinational manager). No dependent. I was with Nebraska Service Center.
a) Timeline
I will attach the full timeline , but the main steps were the following
- May 11, 2011: with the lawyers , we filed I-140, I-485, I-765 and I-131. we also attached results of the medical examination
- May 4, 2022: I-140 was approved
- June 16, I recieved a notification that I-765 card was being produced
- June 17, I also receive a notification that I-131 was approved
- June 25, Combo card was recieved .
- July 13, cases was transferred to National Benefits Center
- July 26, I recieved a notification that I—485 card was being produced
- Aug 3, I received the Green Card
b) Traveling with Advance Parole
This was actually very smooth , secondary inspection lasted less than 10 minutes.
It really seems that USCIS is accelerating now , and I hope future waiting time will be better. But in my opinion , patience and use of lawyers are key. This community is great to find confort and solidarity with people who are going through the same experience.

⚠️ How to respond to RFE with no new evidence? (VAWA I-360)
I hope I can summarize this as briefly as possible.
My attorney just forwarded me the RFE letter from USCIS. According to this, there's very little evidence about my marriage and that I was abused.
The RFE might have been triggered because my attorney requested an expedite for my EAD (work authorization). I'm currently on a leave of absence from work.
My VAWA case was submitted sometime in January 2020.
Here are some bullet points from the RFE:
• "You did not submit sufficient evidence to establish your eligibility under the self-petitioning provisions of the Violence Against Women Act"
• USCIS notes that Marriage certificate and restraining order was submitted "however, it does not provide evidence that marriage was entered in good faith"
• Joint tax return from the past 4 years were submitted but apparently there's no evidence that tax return was filed with the IRS 🤷🏻♂️
• Requesting more evidence such as joint lease, rental agreement, insurance policies, utility, bank statement etc., and more evidence for extreme cruelty and battery.
In the past, we lived for about 3 years at/with her parents so there was no rent agreement or utility bills. I did submit a lot of bank statements, car insurance, joint bank account, internet provider etc.
For the restraining oder I did describe the abuse back then at court to get the TRO. I had photo evidence of my injury.
Overall the marriage has been very messy and I tried to get as much evidence as possible but it was very difficult since my wife had most of the documents at her place.
Now my attorney says that "we have some evidence that we can use". But is that enough?
I've moved on long time from my past but every time I receive such a notice from the USCIS it always scares me and all I have is deportation in my head.
Any advice would be great.
