Just today after 4 days of receiving receipt # by text message I got the Biometrics appointment alert, still I haven’t received any notice of action in the mail. Has anyone be in the same situation? How long have taken to get them physically in paper? #biometrics

Hey, I want to know anyone has an example of Biomtrics resuse for their I485? In my case, my I765 is already approved with Biometrics reuse. But, for I485 even after 70 days of applying there is no intimation for Biometrics and even helpdesk also giving no information on this. As they have reused for I765, should I assume that they will reuse for I485 as well? Any stories from anybody? #Biometrics #Biometric_reuse

Changing Biometrics Schedule

Hi all, I received my 485 notice that my fingerprint fee was received on Oct 26. Assuming my fingerprint could happen anytime soon, unfortunately I have a flight to travel for a 1-week vacation in about 10 days. Did anyone have a similar issue when you wanted to take the fingerprint at an earlier date than noticed such as walk-in? I don’t want to delay the biometrics appointment, but at the same time, a quick round trip flight just for this 10-min fingerprint is too time consuming and expensive! Hello all I got my conditional green card back in April 2023, this year, but unfortunately, we’re divorced and now I’m removing the conditions on my own. So the question is, I’m traveling to my home country next month, and I’m filing forms this month, what happens if I get a biometrics appointment when I’m not here? I was given biometrics back in 2021 for a conditional green card, will USCIS request biometrics again? If yes, I won’t be here in the US during that time, any options? Suggestions? My PD is March 2nd, 2011. After many delays and issues, we did a concurrent filing of 140 and 485 in EB3-2 in March,2023. There was a RFE for 250 which was answered and it was approved in April. 485 receipt number - March 31 Biometrics for 485 - May 4th Case was transferred to another office - May 17 Case was Transferred and new office has jurisdiction - May 18 I also had biometrics appointment on May 17th for I-765. Case is now at National Benefits Center. Is there a way to know if it'll be transferred to field office? what can I expect next? #485 #casewastransferred #nationalbenefitscenter #biometrics #decision #EB3

biometric preponing

hi, my lawyers recieved a notice today scheduling mine and kids biometrics for 17th. the kids and wife are flying out of us on 16th. Has anyone had any success in calling USCIS center and preponing biometrics. there are two other issues 1/the lawyers haven't got the letter for my wife and 2/ i haven't received the appointments by post yet. Any advice, folks used to recommend doing a walkin. Has anyone done it in recent past. #biometrics

Hi there. I have filed two immigration petitions (A and B) and got two appointment letters for biometrics. On the day of the appointment, I only gave them one of the letters (on which receipt number of case A was written), wrongly perceiving that the other one was a duplicate copy. In my online file, they only acknowledged that they have taken the biometrics data of application A and did not mention anything for application B. Does that mean my biometric data won't be used for the application B? How can I resolve this? #biometrics#concurrent filing
