Hi!
asking for a friend who is an American citizen and want to file form l-130 to her parents who are here in the US right now on a tourist visa. They came here a month ago, but I want to know if they have to stay in the states for the whole application processing time? or do they have the chance to go back to their country?

I may be filing i130 pretty soon for a parent.
Can the group members help with any information on the timeline on how long it is taking for i130 and issues they may have come across. I am in Dallas and will be filing online. Can anyone comment which service center would process the application?
Note- I’ve checked the processing times in uscis website but wanting to get actual idea from people who already have filed. Parent is not in the US.

deportation/removal order attorney/lawyer
can anyone recommend the lawyer/attorney they used to successfully dismiss their deportation order? i already have approved i130 in march and i485,765,131 was filed in May and are under active review but the representative i used for the process has called stating they filed the motion to dismiss incorrectly, and is wanting ME to pay again to refile although it was their error. thanks
