I130 duration/issues

I may be filing i130 pretty soon for a parent. Can the group members help with any information on the timeline on how long it is taking for i130 and issues they may have come across. I am in Dallas and will be filing online. Can anyone comment which service center would process the application? Note- I’ve checked the processing times in uscis website but wanting to get actual idea from people who already have filed. Parent is not in the US.

I am now at days 110 and still nothing. I just can not understand why my case was transferred to the Vermont Service Center if I reside in Texas.

My lawyer submitted an expedite request he states that he submitted it on August 23. It’s been about a month and I haven’t gotten any update, is this normal? how long do expedite requests take?

can anyone recommend the lawyer/attorney they used to successfully dismiss their deportation order? i already have approved i130 in march and i485,765,131 was filed in May and are under active review but the representative i used for the process has called stating they filed the motion to dismiss incorrectly, and is wanting ME to pay again to refile although it was their error. thanks

Multiple EAD expedite requests denied

I’ve filed multiple EAD expedite requests over the course of the last couple of weeks, grounded on financial loss. I’m unemployed and with a pending offer letter - waiting for the work permit. I’ve filed via mail, phone, and Emma - all denied. I’ve also reached out to two Senators, and their requests got denied as well. Senator got this response: “[…] we are informed that expedited processing requests based solely on loss of employment or future employment will not be granted.[…]” And USCIS replied to me with: “We received your request for expedited processing, but we will not accommodate that request. Based on a review of your request, your case does not meet one or more of the expedite criteria or otherwise merits expedited processing. We review all expedite requests on a case-by-case basis, and we accommodate them at the sole discretion of the agency.” EAD is pending for 7 months. #ead #expedite
