Religious workers - What is everyone doing if they lose their job while i-485 is pending ?
Given that the category is regressed and it’s going to take a while to get green card and we don’t have option for job portability (I-485 j), I’m just wondering what is everyone doing if they lose their job while I-485 is pending.

Processing times changes massively
The processing times on USCIS website seems to have changed greatly. Now, i485 processing times (for all categories) says anywhere from 10 to 14 months. Just a year ago, it was anywhere from 10 to 24 months. Is the 14 month time frame max, really happening? Has anyone seen decisions made within 14 months? Or is it just one of those ‘on paper only’ things that USCIS does?

what else we can do ? I asked my lawyer if we can expedite but she refuse to do that . this is so confusing since no one care what we are going through

today, I got the email saying they took action on our case and saw the approval notice in our documents tab!!! thank you to everyone on this app. should guys helped keep me strong through this portion of the process. I pray for everyone here! never give up! our PD date was August 11 2023. notice came from Vermont center.

waiting since july 2022 CR1
my wife and i we are waiting since july 2022 for my adjustment of status since july 2023 my i130 is been approved and since that time we are waiting for my i485 get approved and nothing so far in my progress shows 2 months but since 2 months ago doesn't move at all according to uscis i have to wait until February 2025 to submit a request its crazy does anyone else with the same experience since the same time im in nj

Today God fulfilled his promise! After 14.5 torturous months filled with anxiety, mental stress and depression, God has shown us mercy!
I want to appreciate everybody that has shared their journey on here and also encourage those still waiting for their approval… it’s coming!
Now I am one step away from reuniting permanently with my wife and child…
