No update after fingerprint
is it normal to get no updates on the case status online after fingerprinting? I applied for change of status on September 27, 2024, got my biometric on October 21, 2024. my status changed to âCase is being actively reviewed by uscis â. should I expect to see something like âbiometric scheduledâ, âbiometric received â on my case status?

Hey! I recently got my green card approved and got it about 2 weeks later. However, they made a mistake. They used my maiden last name instead of my married one đ and yes I filled all documents with my married last name and sent marriage license. I even got receipt notices and other mail from them with the married last name and then BAM! Has anyone had any experience with this? I hear the wait time for them to fix their mistake (to send back new card after I-90) is very long.

hi all! i am more than happy to say my journey is coming to the end. its been 16 months and every step was faster than i expected.
USCIS took 15 months.
NVC took 2 weeks.
after DQ i got interview letter in 2 weeks. and my interview is on April 17.
everything was smoothly and faster than i planned. totally will be 18 months. (i think its great when i think only USCIS step is taking 16.5 months now.) i hope every case will be smooth and fast.
No lawyer, No RFE for any step.

The journey end!!
Everything was smooth except for the final step. I-485 was stuck is pending status for quite a while. Finally reached out to Congressman to place an inquiry on the 12th of this month. Donât know if that did the trick but I got approved within 10 days after placing the inquiry. Good luck to all!!
