I-140 EB1C Pending for 8.5+ Months at TSC – Worth Upgrading to Premium?
My I-140 under the EB1C category has been pending at the Texas Service Center for over 8.5 months now. I’m ROW and filed my I-485 concurrently with the I-140.
According to the processing times for I140 EB1C at Texas it is listed as up to 10 months.
Would you recommend upgrading to premium processing at this point, or should I just wait it out for a few more weeks as I’m almost hitting the 10months. (I’m ROW so my PD is current)
Anyone with similar timelines or experience at TSC – your insights would be really appreciated!

EB-1c I-485 interview experience
We had our interview this morning (San Antonio office),
I just wanted to share the experience with everyone and tell you not to be discouraged.
We went with our 3 young children (5 and below) and had a great experience with the interviewer, she had lots of patience and understanding to our situation, she kept everything short as possibly could.
As for questions - She went over the general info (name, address, work title and org name etc.) and afterwards just asked the mandatory questions from the I-485 submission. We came with lots of paper work but was only asked to handover the letter we got for the interview.
Don’t arrive with expectation to get a “you are approved” on the spot, we’ve been told she is sending our file to be cleared with home land security (Visa info, I-94 etc.) and that everything seems in tact from her end.
Fingers crossed we will get an update soon,
but as I was nervous before I wanted to share this with everyone in hope it helps.
