Combo card trip

I got my combo card about a month ago and wanna visit my hometown, I leave on December, 30 and come back on January, 12. My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview since October, 1. Do you guys know if USCIS schedule interview on Christmas or New Years? I just don’t want to buy my tickets and get an interview date before I leave or while I’m outside the country. thanks!!

uscis asked me for some evidence that was already sent in the package, my lawyer will send what they asked again, someone has this happened and is it normal?

Address change after interview scheduled

Has anyone been in a similar boat? I’m currently abroad and our interview is scheduled during the second week of December. However, my interview has been scheduled in Texas whereas I’m going back to California as we moved just recently and are going to be staying at a new address. Should we apply for address change online or reschedule interview… if anyone’s been through the same situation please advise.

my mother 's I 130 was approved Nov 9th. Case closed by USCIS. I have filed AOS along with I 130. how long to schedule an interview for I 485?

Case processing time retrogressed for November 2021

Has anybody noticed USCIS’s most recent case processing time today? Both I-485 and I-765 now take longer than the ones published yesterday. Case inquiry dates were also retrogressed back for a couple of months. Anybody knows why?

I-485 and I-130 not totally in sync

Completed my interview today. Interviewer approved us on the spot. Now I-485 is showing New card being produced but I-130 is showing "Interview completed and my case must be reviewed" is this normal?

EAD tracking Vermont

hi! I have been tracking for one week the i765 with “case received” status for Vermont Center to try to understand what are they working on. I have tracked from EAC2190036000(Dec cases) to EAC2190066000(May cases) in the case Tracker app and those are my conclusions. In this week there are 96 less cases in “case received” status, 11 of them before March, 27 are March cases, 29 are April cases and 29 are May cases. So it is obvious that they are not following any order…but at least now I know that they are working in EADS in Vermont… There are still around 2,200 i765 in “ case received” status in that range I studied. hope this helps! #ead #vermont #i765

I can’t believe the processing time for Texas center increased once again… since I applied in Dec 2020, every month they delay a little longer the EAD C(09) process… :(

Which is the fastest way to expedite..?

hello folks what do you think will a us senator have a better turnaround time for expediting the case to uscis or is it the local congressman? I am in California..any suggestions?? any past success stories??

I had my interview in May and is been six months and no response . At the end of the interview the AO gave me an handshake and he said Goodluck. pls does that imply congratulations or what . Please anybody with similar expirence should share . Regards

i got i751 decision by uscis that they will return my fees i submitted i.e 685$. anyone knows how they will return the fees? cheque cash by mail or what?

EAC: Processing Times Just Changed!

Hey, all. Processing times just changed again for Vermont: 10 to 16.5 months. The most recent date for a case inquiry was February 19th, 2020. It’s now sitting at July 6th, 2020. :) This is good news!

Today my EAD was approved, but I did not received any news about my children. How long it takes after my approval?

C08 renewal Potomac Feb 10 receipt - Mandamus suit?

My receipt date is Feb 10, 2021. The processing time increased from 10 to 11 months for EAD renewal C08 at Potomac again. Especially with the holidays coming it will get further delayed. This is ridiculous. My lawyer suggested filing a mandamus suit and it will cost $200/person. We already have 2 people and need 3 more to get this filed to share the fee of filing. If anyone is tired of this wait and needs their EAD quickly then DM me and I can put you in touch with my lawyer. I think it's high time we do something about it. I have already tried multiple expedite requests, congress person expedite and senator expedite. They rejected all of them. my interview was scheduled December 16 but was canceled. i got a letter that it was their fault. now it’s back at case is ready to be scheduled for interview
