planning to travel to Puerto Rico while waiting on my GC processing to start

hi, can someone please help me understand if I can travel to Puerto Rico and come back to the US? I am on a h1b (visa stamping pending) and am waiting for my spousal gc processing to start. we submitted the documentation for the green card in September of 2021 and have only received an acknowledgment from USCIS. will this affect the gc process?

Hi, If my company transfers me to a different state/city, will it be a problem for my case if my spouse decides to stay at our current address because she wants our son to finish the school year before moving? I'm planning on keeping my current address as my mailing address. has anyone experienced this before? Does living at different addresses affect your case even if you still pay bills together or have joint bank accounts?

when you request your senator/congressman for expediting your case, is it appropriate to write a letter explaining your situation? or just the required privacy release forms along with supporting documents enough? any advice will be appreciated! TIA
