I wrote a letter explaining the situation. I was denied, nonetheless I wrote it. I’m not saying not to try it. Definitely go for it, but keep you expectations to a minimum, honestly.

Uros - any news on your case since biometrics?

The case status for 765 changed to “fingerprints were applied to the case”. That’s it. Hopefully I get the EAD soon. How about you?

Nothing unfortunately Uros, January will be my 3rd month on administrative leave. Not sure whether to try Congressman, another expedite or just wait.

Is it worth submitting a service request on I131, it is now outside normal processing time. Perhaps that could give me ab idea of where it is.

Definitely try with the congress representative, but don’t get your hopes up. Regarding 131 form, in my experience the SR did not help at all. I received the standard response “your case is s in line for adjudication, cases are processed in the order which they are received”, meaning wait longer we are not there yet. Same thing for SR that I raised for EAD. They literally don’t care in responding to these requests, hopefully that means they are busy processing the applications. Ridiculous how big of a delay it is. Incompetence and lazyness is shocking.

Totally agree, I do expect a response to my GC SR in the next 30 days, perhaps I’ll get that before my EAD!

Any specific congressman you would recommend trying

CG7, you have to write to your district congressman, you cant just write to any. do a search in google with your zipcode and you can find who your congressman is and point to his/her website where you will find instructions on how and where to reach.

PD for 485 is February 20th 2020 and filed concurrently.

No not yet, I expect I will get one for medicals soon - I submitted a SR on 2/12 and they told me they would respond in 60 days. I140 approved in Sept 2020.

Uros, processing times went up this month unfortunately, not by much and not a surprise, but it has again.

Just seen it now. I gave up checking the processing times. I’ll try to expedite it in February because my DL is expiring in March that I got based on my receipts. Without DL I can’t even get food, so I’ll try that.

Guys, i want to share my case history with you so might be you can advise what to do next for me since we are more or less in the same boat and I guess in the same service center - TSC. i have filed concurrently in Apr 2019 with usual annual EAd renewals. my last EAD renewal PD is Jan,6,2021-which almost 12 months now, but apparently they have just extended it to 13 months. i have got my 140 approved just last week 30th Rec 2021 on 997 days. My 485 is now 1002 days. I understand i can notnplace SR for 765, but can i place it fot 485 already?

In which case, yes you should be able to submit a service request but I do not believe they can do anything with the 485 document until the I140 is approved, which it now has and js a major step. If the receipt date on your 485 is before May 27, 2020 then you can submit a SR. As an example, my I140 was approved in September 2020.

Good luck, my SR was submitted 2nd December and the response noted it was with an adjudicating officer and I should expect a decision or notice of action within 60 days. 60 will be 2nd of February.

I’m on 13th month of waiting for EAD.

not many of TSc posts here, but whoever comments i noticed that days for most of them are more than 400

hopefully I receive it in that timeframe. It’s been a pain without EAD.
