USCIS response after EAD expedite request
Hello,
my I-765 expedite request was received 5 days ago and today I received an email with the following message:
"The status of this service request is:
Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."
Did anyone get a message like this too?
Although I would like to believe this, I think the email doesn't mean anything...just more waiting.

Day stopped counting
Can anyone help to explain this to me both I 130 and I 485 updates say interview is complete and my case must be reviewed. I am confused because my days stopped counting for both I 130&485.

Applied last April 2021, 3 weeks later I got a prima facie letter. I checked the uscis page almost everyday and it stated that my case was received and fees waived. Anyome with similar situation…..btw I filed everything together still haven’t gotten back an authorization to work 😩

USCIS IS ASKING ME FOR PROOF OF MY PARENTS’ RELATIONSHIP TO ME.
I received an RFE, containing this information:
To demonstrate that an individual is eligible for approval as the beneficiary of a petition filed under
INA 201 (b) a petitioner must:
• Establish a bonn fide parent-child relationship with the beneficiary; and
• Establish that he or she is a USC.
What You Need to Do
You must provide the following information in order for us to make a final decision on your ease
• Also submit a copy of your parents' marriage certificate establishing that your father was
married to your mother. If either your mother or father were previously married, submit copies
of documents showing that each of the prior marriages was legally terminated, The marriage
and any divorce certificates must be issued by the government agency authorized to issue the
document. For immigration purposes, the marriage must have been registered with the
government agency authorized to register marriages from the location where the marriage took
place. The marringe centificate must have the seal of the issuing office, the date of registration,
and signature of the registration

Filing Taxes when your wife live out of USA / or case still pending.
I went to file my tax and got the best advice. once you marry someone out of the country you need to file as married. you can file married but filling separate or married filing jointly (your spouse will need ITIN). I chose filing jointly for our case. my WIFE lives in Ghana and I live here. HR block applied for the ITIN number and filed the tax as married and filing jointly. The is financial benefit to file married jointly. just posting it here for those who doesn’t know you can actually file married jointly even if your spouse hasn’t Been in the US.
