hi everybody, my husband and I filed together on August 6th, did biometrics the same day in September, got the same RFE in regards to Birth Certificate in October. My hubby’s EAD just got approved( yay 😀 ) but mine is still showing “under review”. Any experiences here about the process for parents? thanks in advance🙏🏽

Live call with USCIS Representative on GC EAD
Today I spoke live with a USCIS representative on the status of my green card EAD application. This is what he said:
“Case was scanned on January 15, 2022."
What does this mean? Can someone explain?
I applied for AOS in the EB1C category.
Texas Service Centre.
Received Date: July 13, 2021.
Biometrics Done: October 25, 2021.
Concurrent filing of I-140, I-485, I-765, and I-131.
God has done it…
I was beyond stressed with the idea that my spouse would stop working as of today with an indefinite time to start again. But throughout the whole time, I kept telling him that he wouldn’t stop working as I still believe a miracle would happen. And yes, the expedite request is finally approved. There might be some work stoppage but at least he won’t lose his job as we hope to receive the card sooner or later. It’s just one little step but it means a lot to us. I’m beyond grateful to God and to you guys on this forum for sharing your experiences particularly with expedited requests that have helped a lot. Now time to have this card delivered. I will update then.

How long does it take for USCIS to cash out check
I applied for EB2-NIW in November last year, and I remember the check with the application fee was cashed out quickly (72 hours). I sent last week my I-485 application, and this time I have not received a notice, and the check has not been cashed out, either.
Do you have any experience as to how long it takes for them to cash out this with I-485 applications?
Note: I had to send everything to Texas field offices for processing and rerouting if needed. thanks.
