how accurate is rank on I-485?
during last year people in decision was 3 and since February has been moving and now is 9, and my rank also moved from 16 to 12, So now 9 are on decision and I am on 12th rank, but how accurate is this?

USCIS always adjust the processing time to show they are unable to deal with the cases.

This is based on people who entered their cases in lawfully system. If some new case is entered later then yours but was submitted to USCIS earlier than yours, it will of course ranked before yours. So your rank will never be static except if people stop adding their cases to lawfully.
