Transfer to Queens field office(local FO)
Hi everyone,
My EB-3 I-485 case was transferred from Manchester Field Office to Queens Field Office on 08/14/2025. Queens is my local office.I had my case transferred to Manchester field office on 06/13/2025.
Has anyone here gone through the same situation recently? How long did it take after transfer for you to get a decision?I heard that queens is a very slow FO.
When can I file mandamus for I-730 for someone inside the USA?
I filed I-730 for my spouse and child August 8, 2024. The status still says fees were waived. Does anyone know if it’s okay to file mandamus cases for them?

EB2 ROW Cross-Chargeability
Hello!
I applied for I-485 AOS through Cross Chargeable through my Spuse’s Country of Birth (South Africa)
USCIS sent Application Receipt on August 5.
On Aug 13, my Spouse received RFE Notification for I-485 Application. Meanwhile, my I-485, I-765 and I-131 are all in Application Received Status.
I have two questions:
1. Will I have to wait for RFE to be Resolved for Me and My Spouse to get a Biometrics Appointment or is it something that happens in parallel while RFE is being processed?
2. Any idea what RFE Notice would be for? We sent our Marriage Certificates and Birth Certificates with the Application.

Approved today! Thank God for answering my prayers.
I can’t wait to have my daughter and my husband in the state. Resident is Canada, waiting for next steps.

My Approval Letter and I-94 came in today. I’m so so Happy. Wishing everyone still waiting for decision the very best. It’s been a long journey and I’m glad I can sleep well at night now and no longer be scared of what the future holds. AO was so nice to me. probably the best one anyone could ever ask for. 😭🙏
