Hello everyone,
I applied for naturalization (N-400) before completing three years as the spouse of a U.S. citizen, relying on INA 319(b) and INA 316(f). I completed my interview a month ago, passed the civics test, and the officer informed me that my case involves special circumstances requiring supervisory review. However, the officer still recommended my application for approval on the paper given at the end of the interview. Despite this, my case is still pending, and I am concerned about the possibility of denial after the officer’s initial approval recommendation. I applied for naturalization after only one year of holding a green card, based on INA 319(b) and 316(f), and while I may not fully meet all standard criteria, I would appreciate insights from anyone with a similar experience. Could my case still be denied after the officer’s recommendation for approval?
My paper given after the interview says; You pass the civics test and congratulations your case has been recommended for approval, but no update since 40 days.
Finally Approved
After a whole year and change of waiting today i finally recived my husband’s approval letter!! can’t even express how happy we both are. God is good. Don’t lose hope. #NebraskaServiceCenter

27th February I got a second active review, I dont know how many times i kept checking for an approval, I even started getting worried when I saw November approvals, but finally am on to the next stage. It has been a long 16months.
November you are next 😅Keep posting those approvals… it gives so much hope to see your pd getting closer.
