I-730 FTJ-A Status update
My family resides outside the United States and their I-730 was updated as case sent to USCIS International Office or DOS Consulate Office for processing. Next day it was updated to Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction. I’m confused if it was sent to the embassy directly or has to go through NVC before forwarding to embassy. How much longer is the process till interview?
finally greened
I am happy… kind of… after so many years of waiting I lost any joy of having a green card. was waiting and waiting. good luck everyone

How long does this usually take.
I need to get a job asap. There are so many jobs I see that I’m interested in but I can’t apply because I don’t have my EAD. Can someone please give me some advice.

Guidance on Situation Needed
Hello! My wife is USA Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card). We both studied in the same university for our bachelors, clicked and decided to get married after being together for 4 years of university and further 3 more years of relationship together.
Now shes filled for my i130 while we live together in Pakistan where she is doing her masters degree while I do my job and we live comfortably. We filled i130 in Sept 2023 and were expecting to have it approved by now and move towards the NVC and DS260, but it seems like backlog is huge. We dont mind waiting given that we can live together till we both can get to USA. My wife regularly visit USA and her family their every 4-5 months for 1-2 months and then comes back to me.
Based on this situation I have following questions:
1: Given Trump may put Travel Ban on Pakistan, should this be concerning for my wife’s situation?
2: Can anyone guide how long should we expect i130 to take still?
3: Any other guidance on how can we expedite this process or if we cant somehow can my wife keep living in Pakistan with me?

RFE
So on 3/5 I received a letter RFE to prove that we have a bonfide marriage. Mind you when I initially submitted the I-130 I sent all we had at the time, I also uploaded documents as soon as we have anything new like our joint taxes when we sign our lease life insurance, health insurance joint bank account which we had a year before we got married, marriage certificate, wedding pictures, pictures of trip that we travelled outside of the country on an advanced parole, like almost everything not to mention we brought those to the interview, the lady interviewed my husband forever while I am still in the waiting area with no idea what’s happening then she took me after that for less than 5 minutes to tell me he has a NY drivers license and we don’t have a real marriage. We also took all these documents with us which I handed to my husband when she called him in, he said she keep asking what do we have to prove and he said she kept saying this is nothing show me something else very intimidatingly. So now how is it that all these were presented and was never used to assess the validity of our marriage but they are sending back for the same documents to prove that this is a legitimate marriage? I’m so confused as to what this woman recommended when we went, because she gave him hell the moment she called his name until we left it was so disappointing.
K1 and K2 AOS.
Alhamdulillah❤️ our immigration journey has come to an end. Wish you all the best for those still waiting and I hope you will succeed and get approved Inshallah.
God bless America🇺🇸🫡.
