Travel out of US with Valid AP
hi All,
we are planning to travel out of US next week and we have Valid EAD and AP for next 5 years.
we do not have H1b stamping to come back and we are planning to use our AP to come back to US. Is there any risk at Port of entry? we have used AP last year also and it was smooth but due to these EO by president (specially h1b one last Friday) we are little scared and skeptical
any inputs are valuable. pls guide if we should go ahead with our travel plans?
I file Dec 2023 got interview aug 2025 it went well they ask for RFE it was received Sept 2 now I still waiting ..🙏🙏
I got a notice yesterday that they have taken action on my case I check the documents tab and nothing was there, I saw that they say they received my RFE but they already told me that on Sept 2 anyone can help me out as to why they say say they received it twice.Do you think I got an approval?
I-485 still hasn’t been approved
I sent my RFE response back in April but it never got updated on the system. I have been calling USCIS sans even requested help from the senador but still haven’t got any update. last month I sent a duplicate of the RFE. Has anyone had the same experience?

I've done interviewed earlier, the officer lady asked me like this last question.....
Since april 1, 1997, have you been un lawfully present in the united states? you were unlawfully present in the united states if you were present in the united states after the expiration of the period of stay authorized by the department of homeland security (dhs) secretary or were present in the united states without being admitted or parole? I answered no. 😌
Is it right? or Could I say yes but I did married before 90 days?

Case transfered to local FO
Hi, does anyone here has any experience after they transfered your case to Kansas City FO. My case was transfer from NBC to Kansas City FO almost a month now and with no new update.
There are people who case got transfer to local FO and got interview scheduled within a week or two but for me it just radio silent.
Is it because they exhausted the visa for 2025 and i have to wait until Oct for some news?
anyone applied for Ead combo card renewal through vawa this year and got approved? I applied in may12 2025 Lin center still no update anyone filed this year please share your timeline would help!

medical exam
Hello, I had my I-485 interview yesterday I went there and it went fine. The officer was asking questions and she told me if I brought a new medical form because my previous one it’s expired and I said oh no I didn’t know that and she was like it’s OK you just have to go at your previous surgeon and have them reprint and just resign that form and just mail it to me asap. That’s what I did today but the date on that form is from 2023 but the signature date is from today from 2025 and I’m wondering if that’s a problem?
has anyone had a similar situation ???

Honestly, I usually never do this type of post, but I know this journey is not easy, and there are a lot of people starting this process. So, I wanted to share my case so you can have an idea of how it has worked for me, even though I’m not done yet.
• June 10, 2022: We sent the I-130 petition
• April 16, 2025: I-130 was approved
• May 2025: NVC created my case ID
• June 2025: QD
I’m from El Salvador, and since June I’ve still been waiting for my appointment. I hope I can get a response soon.
