receipt notice for I-485J
Hello everyone,
I just received a receipt notice for I-485J. It said they "received my I-485J and the notice only shows that the application was filed on the received date. it does not grant you any immigration status or benefit, and it is not evidence that your case is still pending."
I have the interview a month ago. Now, I received this notice. I had the interview in Texas and the notice was sent from National Benifit.
Does anyone have this experience? is this the good news or will I have case approval soon?

USCIS “typographic error” correction – how long does it actually take?
USCIS made a typographic error on my approval notice (I-797). I submitted an inquiry to have it corrected about a month ago and haven’t heard anything back yet—no new notice, no status update.
For those who’ve had USCIS fix a typo on their approval notice:

Soy residente permanente y mi caso es categoría F2A.
• Fecha de prioridad: 28 de noviembre de 2021
• I-130 aprobado
• Completé los 6 pasos del NVC y estoy DQ (Documentarily Qualified) desde el 30 de abril de 2025
• El caso es para República Dominicana.
Según el boletín, ya hay visa disponible desde el 1 de octubre de este año, pero mi caso sigue en el NVC sin movimiento.
¿Alguien más con una situación similar o alguna actualización reciente sobre entrevistas en RD?
Agradezco cualquier información o experiencia que puedan compartir.

I wanted to ask if anyone has any recent updates regarding F2A cases at the NVC.
I am a permanent resident and my case is in the F2A category.
• Priority Date: November 28, 2021
• I-130 approved
• Completed all 6 NVC steps and I have been DQ (Documentarily Qualified) since April 30, 2024
• Case is for the Dominican Republic
According to the visa bulletin, a visa has been available since October 1 of this year, but my case is still at the NVC with no movement.
Is anyone else in a similar situation or has any recent updates about interviews in the Dominican Republic?
I would really appreciate any information or experiences you can share.
