Hello everyone,
so currently i am pending i485, my PD is 8 june 2022 with eb3 other workers 2 months behind. currently i am on F1 status and no EAD or i131 yet.
should i continue the school or should i just leave it? because i have to pay 5000$ to the school. what do you guys say about this?
Filed EAD renewal in Nov 2024 but still no update. Nothing shows on the USCIS website or on this app. Anyone with the same situation?
Waiting since Nov 2024 for EAD renewal. Anybody with the same experience?

Govt filed a motion to dismiss my WOM — any advice?
I’ve been waiting for about 19 months for my I-485. I filed a WOM back in March. The govt missed the first deadline, so my attorney served them again.
Now, the government has filed a Motion to Dismiss (MTD). They’re arguing that 19 months is not an unreasonable delay and pointed to the current processing time of around 32 months.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? If I oppose the MTD and the judge grants it, what happens? Would it be better to voluntarily dismiss the case now and possibly file again after another 6 months?
Any experiences or advice would be really appreciated! 🙏

I have a question to ask..
A few years ago i was married to an abusive woman that showed me how hell feels like and thankfully we’ve been divorced for about 2 years now!
- In Feb 2025 my lawyer have filed my VAWA I-360 alone without filing the I-485 saying that it’s safer to get the I-360 approved first and then he will file the I-485 just in case if the immigration denies my I-360 i would stay safe while if we file them both at the same time and they deny my I-485 i will automatically become in a removing situation and that would be a bad thing especially under the new system!
Even though he said that my case is solid and that my evidences are very strong!
My question is do you guys think what he did is the best thing to do or should i file the I-485 now because i kinda need a Work Permit and a real id!
I -130 F4. Case migrated to ELIS. PD Aug 2012
USCIS migrated my Form I-130 F4 Petition to ELIS in June 2024 and they assigned the new receipt number. My case was filed in Aug 2012. The current case status shows “Case Was Received, Receipt Notice Not Sent.” However, I previously received the official Form I-797 Notice in 2012. Since the case was migrated, there has been no further action or decision and I can’t inquire about the case before March 2027. Has any I-130 F4 case been approved after migrating to ELIS ?

writ of mandamus
it’s been 4 years and 1 month since i applied many Prima facie and 1 RFE about moral character back in sept 2022 i. which I responded by December of 2022! with no movement
I want to file a writ of mandamus by the end of this year if I don’t hear anything from them my only concern is that I have a past misrepresentation from years ago which they’re aware of it because it was addressed in a cancellation of removal process court when I applied for vawa
my question is will suing them will make them act against me based on. my immigration history??? anyone with the same history had applied for writ of mandamus with a positive or negative outcome based on past issues ?! please comment
