hello everyone I filled vawa on November 2020 until now I didn’t get approved or denied. I’m about to contact my congressman but I don’t know how to write the letter, to do it simple or I need a lot of pages. Did anyone reached out to congressman before if yes please give me some guidance
In queue to be scheduled for Interview (Raleigh Durham FO)
My EB2 based I-485 was transferred to the local field office (Raleigh Durham) on 05/06/2024. I checked with Emma on 5/18/2024 my case was put into the queue to schedule interview. I wonder how long this queue could be and typically how far out the interview is scheduled from notice? Thank you

I’ve been approved my 1-30 since feb 16 th 3 months later I’m still waiting on my 1-485 to approve does anyone know how long is the process to get approved for your green card ?

US Citizen Son’s Petition for Indian Parent
Hey, does anyone know how long a case like this will take?
First I filed for petition form I-485 and Form I-131
He received his social and EAD Card. Then had had a problem in his medical so they denied his case for green card because of some incorrect medical form. So I sent them the New Medical Record( I-693). My attorney filed for a motion and I don’t know how long it will take now.

EB-2 NIW Priority Date - ROW
Hi,
I have an approved I-140 (EB2 NIW ROW) and my priority date is June 2023. My issue is that my i-94 with my non-immigrant visa (e2) runs out in April-2025.
What are the chances of my priority date becoming chrrent with enough time to submit i-485 and get temp travel documents, or should i prepare myself for some time back in europe whilst i wait on the prioirty date / i-485…..
I know that nobody knows for sure but interested to get others thoughts.

joint motion to dismis
Good morning everybody
I submitted a joint motion to reopen and to dismiss/terminate removal proceedings Pro se( representing myself) at my local OPLA
last week. I called today and OPLA told me that they agreed and it was sent to the court.
when I called the court, they had no record so they say. and they don't even have the three motion to reopen and dismiss I submitted in January, March and finally May.
I submitted it myself and got their stamp and I served DHS myself with their copy and got my copy stamped also
I called back OPLA and they confirmed again that they agreed to join and filed with the court.
basis: I have an approved I130 at USCIS
question: is there a way to verify if you have an agreed joint motion to dismiss with DHS?

I 90 fast processing
Filed the I 90 to replace my greencard that came with the wrong category (CR1 instead of IR1). The estimated time was over 20 months but my processing went much quicker.
