Interview went well and I was approved on the spot but I received a rfe for the official divorce decree. I thought what the court sent to me after my divorce was sufficient I didn’t know I needed a certified copy. I sent the certified copy which was received August 26 and September 15 I got the official notification of approval. On the 14th I received a notification that my interview was canceled. Weird after doing interview but then I knew the approval was near…..lol…,

case finally approved
I went for my interview on the 14th of February! i130 approved and i485 was denied , IO said I was on order removal! I was not aware of it! March 18th, I file motion to reopen with the immigration judge based on i130 approved, June 18, case was reopen and individual hearing on august 2, on august 2 immigration judge dismiss my case and remanded i485 to local field office, on August 14th, I file a motion to reopen and schedule interview on my i485 with local field office in Long Island, on September 13, case was reopen for consideration, September 14, new card is been produced, sepetembe 15, , case was approved ! Thanks for your help in lawfully! I send new medical with motion to reopen i485, That make it faster!

what a journey! at times I felt a little impatient, nervous, anxious and hopeful. it took 120 post interview to receive a decision, I imagine processing is taking longer due to the pandemic but nonetheless we are so thankful!
