Green Card Approved basing on asylum
It's been an exhausting, long waiting time. I wantbto encourage someone out there to do whatever he/she can to ask USCIS for a jurisdiction. As much I knew it wasn't outside the normal processing time, I kept raising service inquiries. Asked for expedite a couple of times. Wrote to my senator, no response. wrote to my congresswoman, denied the first time. The second time, she positively responded, and she wrote to USCIS. In less than 2 weeks, I have got the approval.

APPROVED GREENCARD AND WAIVED INTERVIEW🎉
(Marriage based) I expedited my work permit twice and got approved. and also expedited my I-485, they never asked for any evidence of our marriage. (except my husband’s taxpapers was filed wrong) And our interview got waived without telling me. Came on K1 visa and we have been married for just a year, and we filed by ourselves without any help from a lawyer. there’s hope for everyone. Stay strong 💪 #waived #k1visa #expedite #I-485

Hi friends,
I am a usc sponsoring for my spouse #CR1. I was married in July 2021, however, When I filed taxes in 2022, I filed as single. Will filing single be a problem when sponsoring for my spouse’s immigration visa? Will NVC reject it? Anybody that has filed single been accepted by NVC?
Or should I amend my tax return and change status to “head or household”? My wife does not live in US so I am bit confused.

Finally greened!!!
I’m still in disbelief. My case was so fast but I’m so grateful. Thank god.
Marriage to a US Citizen.
Had my interview yesterday, the officer was so professional and calm, made me feel really comfortable, only asked basic questions, requested to see pictures and gave us a verbal approval.
I woke up today to my case being approved.
So excited, thanks everyone for sharing their stories and timelines. Keep your hopes up.

I-130 approved at Potomac .
Finally! My I-130 was approved at Potomac. Approval was dated 27th September.
I just want to say that although I am happy and grateful, this petition had no business taking as long as it did. It is a very simple case. We all pay the same amount of money, so we should all receive the same service, it’s pretty disheartening to see cases fly through in other centers, whereas we’ve had to wait over 14 months !
Anyway, less moaning, more celebrating :-)

My I360 got approved in the space of 12months
I’m shocked my case got this fast. USCIS received my application Oct 25, 2021 and on Sept. 27, 2022 I got a notification for a new card being produced. A day later my I360 got approved.
Honestly I was looking forward to a response from USCIS next year 2023 probably for RFE. I’m so grateful to God it happened this way.
I don’t know how long it’ll take for them to start processing my I485 after I360 got approved.
Anyone has an idea what to expect next? They received my I485 Oct 25, 2021 too.

I-131 and I-765 approved 🥳
Both have been approved at the same time, I guess I’ll be getting a combo card!
I have an E2 visa still valid but it’s non-immigrant intent so I will have to use my combo card if I want to get back in the US after leaving.
Anyone of you traveled to their home country and came back without issues? Any French citizens here?
