amen to everyone who is still waiting! don’t give up. when you don’t think about it, your case will move forward.
I have not had an lawyer help me with my documents, I had to give REF (which I still think that that was only to give them more time) but I send them within a week everything they asked (even though I knew they already had these things) & for months I have not heard anything. nothing moved. thankfully, I got busy with college again and I have to study for my midterms. BUT it finally came in the mail today.
to everyone else - don’t give up, there are reasons why some have to wait longer and why some have some priority. We can’t change it. annoying ourselves will just give us grey hair from stress. and wrinkles !
now let’s get the interview for the green card done soon & all is good!
amen

SSN
Hey y’all,
As updated yesterday, I received my EAD combo card on Friday (March 11th) without my SSN.
According to the USCIS & SSN websites, they mail the ssn card to the address listed on the I-765 application and we will receive in no later than 7 business days.
Clearly 7 business days hasn’t passed yet, but I went ahead and called my local ssn office and they said they don’t have my record on their file. Therefore, I went ahead and asked them to schedule me an appointment.
Is this ok or should I wait for 7 business days to pass by and if didn’t receive the ssn then contact local office and schedule appointment?
