Case approved but with sad face 😞
I got approved for my petition on September 22 for my I 130 application but USCIS will not sent my petition to the NVC and they ask me to file form I824 for this reason .The petition indicated that the beneficiary would adjust status in the United States AND also listed an overseas consulate for consular processing so please I am lost and my heart going slow right now
Need information about form
How long will take to get approval for I824 ?
Did I have to pay amount for 465$
Anyone have same problem like me

RFE: Sept 30, 2022 (Requesting 1099s .. I am self employed) Submitted same day.
DQd: Today November 14, 2022… 4 days after my birthday 🥳🥳
Now… To my understanding, Nairobi embassy is behind on scheduling interviews and my spouse is in Uganda. I have decided to visit him for our 2nd year anniversary as I haven’t seen him since March 2021 and we miss each other terribly…but THIS IS THE BEST NEWS 🥲🥲 and I’m more excited now about our future together.
What helped me the best to deal with this long ass wait is to STAY BUSY. Don’t check everyday, don’t even check every week if you can help it. Your will only keep your anxiety at a high level and it’s not good for your health. I’m wishing everyone all the best who are still in this process .
Case Approved No NVC Letter
It almost seems like they’re not sending any of our approved applications to the NVC. Just when I thought the unnecessary waiting game was over it begins again. Don’t know why they send the letter stating 2-4 weeks and then also say email them after 30 days.. yet they don’t reply to emails. They can change forms for applications monthly but can’t change the letter they send when your case is approved. Frustrating to say the least.
