Congratulations. couple questions: 1) What was the rfe? 2)What was the basis of your expedite request that was denied? 3)How did the I-485 interview go and questions asked?

lawfully updated my app with RFEs but we never received one. i don't know if it was a glitch but USCIS never really updated my case info on the website either or it was out of date.

my interview was waived. partly because of the delay. i was originally scheduled in the wrong state. they fumbled the case for 4 months and it was finally transferred to my local filed office with support from my local Congressman.

did you submit medical and congratulations again

i received an RFE for the medical and sent it in. i redid my medical as they updated their forms in October and it clearly stated using an old form prior to October 2022 would be grounds for immediate denial. i did not want to risk it. some people do and it's approved but that's your decision.

also I only requested one expedite request but they added 3. none were approved but I did get my work authorization renewed after it expired due to processing delays, which is what I asked for so idk why it says denied.

what is your field office?

it was Chicago but I submitted 6 changes of address before uscis moved my case to San Antonio. once in San Antonio it was super fast and they approved me in less than 2 weeks after I sent my medical in.

i submitted my vawa on feb 2020, and was approved on oct 22. now I’m waiting for I-485 approval that I submitted in July 2019 and requested to put in abeyance when I filed vawa

correct no RFE on the i360. processing was ridiculously slow due to covid closures and moving state. my biometrics was scheduled in the wrong state and added delays.

i suspect lots more approvals by January for those who are close. keep the faith and contact your local Congressman for status updates every 30 days.

i sent my medical records by expedited delivery and they arrived on Oct 28. my Congressman wrote 5 days later to tell the liason officer my record was submitted and yesterday my case was updated. i did not expect a response until December or January. my deadline for the RFE was January 12. i submitted my medical within 2 weeks.

nope it was never denied. i received my approval on lawfully today. my card is being produced. i asssume a week or so shipping.

my case was transferred from out of state and it was a long process than expected. USCIS did not make changing an address simple so all my appointments were managed in the wrong state. tx was a huge support in getting this approved 🙌

I just move to another state too and I did change address as well but how do I know if they didn't change address for me if I have appointments??

ask your local Congressman to verify the address on file!!! do not assume it was updated. mine was at one point and stilll scheduled me incorrectly.

how to contact congressman is it free? do u pay?

Google Congressman near me and it will give you their website. it is totally free. you sign a release form giving them permission to discuss your case. congressman have a contact line to communicate to field office and was the only way I got my case resolved. it is still months between correspondence but it helped me greatly.

Just a heads up USPS almost lost my card. My attorney was able to retrieve it from the postal service on my behalf as it was sent to their office.

h is w king did you take to receive a receipt after filing your vawa self petetion ? I’ve been waiting exactly 3 months to date

My PD was February 2020 and during covid closures so I'm guessing the timeline has changed. i think it was about 1 month after they confirmed it was received.

It said new card produced Nov 22 and that usps picked it up 3 days later. took about a week to get to me including Thanksgiving.

They sent me an RFE for my medical as my interview was wavered. I sent in my medical showing the October 2022 form and covid immunizations. i was approved 2 weeks later.

@C C How long time it took to receive I-360 approval notice in the mailbox after you got the online notification “We approved your I-360 petition” I got approved 40 days ago, received Work authorization C31, but still haven’t received the approval notice in my mailbox.
