interview Washington field office
Hello, I had my interview yesterday and I did not receive any update in the app, how long does it take?
it went pretty smoothly, my lawyer was in a phone call during the interview, The office only asked my husband two questions (when and where did you get married? what is your address?) and basically, he only asked me the yes and no questions, My full name, where do I meet my husband? if it was my first marriage, if we both are parents of the child, and where and when we got married.
My husband and I have a child together and we took her to the interview with us (Idk if it helped)
The office told my lawyer if he doesn’t need any extra paperwork we should be good.

finally approved
after 11 months of waiting, we've finally made a step forward! back in January we went into "active review" but hadn't seen anything else until May 6th. during that time we watched our rank slowly get lower, but also go higher...so it was like 1 step forward and 3 steps back repeatedly. then on May 6th we got an update that our case went into "active review" again. that was a bit fishy, we knew then that something was up. 3 days later we recieved the decision! so glad to finally be over this hump and get going. best of luck to everyone!

Our journey finally comes to an end and I want to share our timeline. An advice from us in regards to the interview. Our interviews were scheduled a week apart. on my interview during registration I asked if my husband could do the interview with me and they happily agreed. That saved USCIS and us a week👍🏽
good luck to you all🍀

ead card being produced
We are over the moon soon I get to finally work... Thanks everyone for all your help... I arrived in October to America on k1 was married in November and after our honeymoon we started the process of filling in all the required paperwork... December 24 was our receipt date... Alot of stressing later in March we tried to expidite under financial loss... We heard nothing back... We tried again in April and again got nothing back... 3rd of May tried for a 3rd time to expidite.... 3rd time lucky today my i765 was new card being produced.... Job offer and financial loss was my main reason for expidite request among others like stress and children under 18... Wy wife usc couldn't do her taxes online because she is now married and I don't have a ssc yet so she had to file her taxes on paper.... Still no word on that... But to everyone who is under pressure out there in the same boat as me just keep on top of them... Keep expiditing and stay sane... Well as best as you can 🍀💚
