ead card being produced
We are over the moon soon I get to finally work... Thanks everyone for all your help... I arrived in October to America on k1 was married in November and after our honeymoon we started the process of filling in all the required paperwork... December 24 was our receipt date... Alot of stressing later in March we tried to expidite under financial loss... We heard nothing back... We tried again in April and again got nothing back... 3rd of May tried for a 3rd time to expidite.... 3rd time lucky today my i765 was new card being produced.... Job offer and financial loss was my main reason for expidite request among others like stress and children under 18... Wy wife usc couldn't do her taxes online because she is now married and I don't have a ssc yet so she had to file her taxes on paper.... Still no word on that... But to everyone who is under pressure out there in the same boat as me just keep on top of them... Keep expiditing and stay sane... Well as best as you can 🍀💚

how soon are you able to get a driver’s license? do you have to wait for AOS to be completed?

As far as I know when I get my ead card I can call the social security for my ssn then I can change from my driver licence to an American 1

They never asked for anything from me... I did have a letter from the company ready if they requested it the lady on the phone did ask me if I had 1

do you mind sharing the letter from your company? My company is willing to write me a letter but they want me to write the draft. Or did you mean the offer letter from company?

Basically it's just a letter address to the uscis stating that the company want to hire me for a position in the company but can't hire me until my work Authorization has been approved... It doesn't need to be anything major it's just stating that you will have a job as soon as you get your ead.... I did say on my expidite request that the day I get my ead I will be starting the position the very next day

They never contacted me for the letter they just approved my ead... Yesterday they approved my travel ap... So my card should be a combo card when it arrives

Yes.. I have seen it happen before from the posts here... Just because you have proof doesn't always mean they want to see it
