Anyone EB1 India “Pending Cases July2022 or Before”, This is frustrating.
Hello everyone, I'm reaching out because I'm getting frustrated with the status of my I-485 application.
The priority date is before July 2022, but it's been stuck in limbo between the NBC and FO without any progress.
Are there others with pending reviews and priority dates before July 2022? I'm starting to wonder if
my case is undergoing additional scrutiny or if it's just a normal delay.
Please reply with your case status with PD. 🙏
finally!
I’d like to share my wife’s immigration case. I was already a green card holder, and I petitioned for my wife. We had our interview on July 21. Her I-130 was approved the same day, and today her I-485 was finally approved. We’re incredibly grateful that this journey has come to a successful end.

Does anyone have any experience with filing a Motion to Advance for an individual (final) hearing in Immigration Court? I’m in New York and want to file one because my mother recently passed away.
Does anyone have any experience with filing a Motion to Advance for an individual (final) hearing in Immigration Court? I’m in New York and want to file one because my mother recently passed away. If I file the motion today, how long does it usually take for the judge to make a decision?

I have passed my interview on Nov 25, 2025 in Santa Ana, CA FO, I have been told the decision can’t be made. I haven’t received any update yet, I sent few service request and congressman help, unfortunately I didn’t receive any useful information other than general response.

Hi everyone,
My children's cases have been pending since June 2024—it's been 25 months now. This is for an IR-2 visa application (unmarried children under 21 of a U.S. citizen).
I'm considering filing a Writ of Mandamus and am currently in talks with an attorney. They quoted me a total of $5,000 for both cases, with a payment plan option.
Does this sound like a reasonable price? I'd really appreciate any insights, especially from attorneys or anyone who has been through this process!

Request for Guidance: CBP Stated My Travel Document Is Revoked
I tried to travel from Delhi to JFK in May, but I wasn’t allowed to board in Delhi. Today, I was able to board from Delhi, but I was stopped in Paris. The airline contacted CBP, and I spoke with a CBP officer over the phone. He told me, “Your document is revoked. Please contact the U.S. Embassy in India.”
How can I get an appointment with the U.S. Consulate/Embassy for this type of case? What documents do I need to bring, or will they verify everything themselves?

Beware☣️
Hi everyone,
For those asking what an FDL letter is: FDL stands for Final Determination Letter. Along with this letter, you will receive a Redress Number. You can use this number to apply yourself through the DHS TRIP website. There is **no need to hire a lawyer** for this process.
Similarly, if you need to schedule an appointment with CBP in New Delhi for what is sometimes called an "OK to Board letter", you can do that yourself as well. Again, you do not need to hire a lawyer.
I also want to caution everyone to be careful of scams. There is a group of people, many claiming to be from the same region in India, who say they reached the United States with the help of a lawyer whose office is supposedly in New York. Please verify these claims carefully before believing them.
Some people also claim they had their CBP interview and received their "OK to Board" letter immediately after the interview. I had my interview one month ago and have still not received a response, some experiences may vary.
Some of the people posting these stories may be genuine, but many profiles appear suspicious. Before trusting anyone or paying money, try searching for their Facebook or Instagram profiles and verify that they are real.
Please be cautious, do your own research, and don't let anyone take advantage of you during this stressful time. Below is the link to apply for The FDL and Redress Number

I-130 status changed to...
I filed an I-130 petition for my wife in January 2024. I am a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), and my case is being processed at the California Service Center.
For a long time, the online status showed “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS.” Recently, I noticed that the status appears to have changed to “USCIS is currently processing your I-130 petition.”
Is this a positive sign? Does this status change usually indicate that the case is moving forward or getting closer to a decision?
