Can someone help me understand this?
I applied for PP in June, and fees was deducted the next day of receiving but I never received a mail with PP reciept number confirmation. I reached out to PP team on 15th July online to confirm if they have documents. Upon that email, they sent me a new generated reciept confirming case was received and they’ll have info for me soon.
Does PP result come before 45 days, or on the 45th day? If RFE, is requested is it before 45 days or after? What if there’s no news? How does PP work?
Has anyone received I-485 approval after an arrest with no conviction?
Hi everyone,
Has anyone here been arrested in the past and later received approval for Adjustment of Status (I-485), especially under EB-3 Unskilled?
In my case, I was arrested, but the court case was later dismissed by ACD and sealed. I did not plead guilty, and there was no conviction. USCIS has now issued an RFE requesting the arrest and court records. I have collected the Certificate of Disposition and the other available court documents.
If anyone has gone through a similar situation, could you please share:
Whether your I-485 was approved,
Whether USCIS scheduled an interview,
What documents USCIS requested,
How long it took after responding to the RFE
I understand that every case is different.
I am only looking for personal experiences, not legal advice.

MyUSCIS Account Issue #i751
Hey everyone,
yesterday my USCIS account showed a error saying “error retrieving case status”. Today, I logged in myUSCIS online account again and it displays my correct name and receipt number, but the Case History is showing events from another person’s immigration case, including Form I-821D updates from 2021 and 2025. And my case is a regular I-751 filed in January 2025. The documents tab is correct with my acceptance notice and reuse of biometrics. The public Case Status page still correctly shows my I-751 as being processed.
Did anyone have this issue before? #I-751

My Final Mandamus Update: I-485 Approved!
This will be my final update about my immigration journey.
After years of waiting, I filed two mandamus lawsuits pro se, meaning I prepared and filed them on my own without an attorney representing me in court.
The first mandamus was for my VAWA I-360 petition. After I filed the lawsuit, my I-360 was approved within approximately four weeks.
I then filed another mandamus for my pending I-485 adjustment-of-status application. Within about seven days, my I-485 was transferred from the Vermont Service Center to my local USCIS field office. Approximately one month later, USCIS scheduled my interview.
My interview was completed on July 6, 2026, and on July 22, 2026, my I-485 was approved.
Filing mandamus was extremely helpful in moving both of my delayed cases forward. It was not easy to do everything on my own, but I remained determined, researched every step, and continued fighting for a decision.
After a long, stressful, and emotional journey:
VAWA I-360 approved.
I-485 approved.
Both mandamus cases filed pro se.
My immigration journey is finally complete.
RFE No Update
I got RFE on June 1 and I sent my medical and it’s delivered on June 24th in cincinati field office and it’s almost a month and I haven’t get any response yet.
anyone has same experience not getting response for this long after sending medical records.
I have seen some gets approved within a week after they sent medical in same field office.
