Seems like USCIS along with DOS is planning on wasting more than half of visas for Eb3 Unskilled.

DOS is just moving the dates, USCIS is slow to catch up, at this rate they’re going to waste more than half visas this year, I guarantee it. At least 5k visas is going down the drains. No way they’re going to utilize 6-7k visas 4 months remaining in this FY.
K1 Timeline
I’m curious about recent K1 visa timelines and wanted to see if anyone has had their case forwarded from the NVC to the embassy recently.
My I-129F petition was approved in February 2026 (Submitted July 2025) and is still currently at NVC. They said that they cannot predict when a case will be forwarded.
That said, how long did it take for NVC to send it to the embassy?
edit: Fiancé’s embassy is in the Philippines
Change Status
Hello! My priority date is April 7, 2023. My husband became a U.S. citizen on November 22, 2024, and submitted his naturalization certificate to USCIS that same day. However, they still haven't approved the case or updated the category change. We have called USCIS multiple times, and they just keep telling us to wait 4 weeks, but nothing happens. When we call back, they tell us the exact same thing. We have been waiting for a year and 6 months now, and still nothing. What do you recommend we do?
Correspondence Was Received And
USCIS Is Reviewing It( on I360, I485, I131)
I filed my application in Nov 2022 and received EAD.
last month, I noticed that both my I-360 and I-485 statuses were updated with the same message: “Correspondence Was Received and USCIS Is Reviewing It.”
What’s interesting is that even my I-131, which was already approved earlier, also got updated with the same “Correspondence Received” status on the same day.
Has this happened to anyone before? Should I expect any response or action from USCIS, or is this just a routine update? I’m asking because I want to be prepared for what might come next. Please advise. Thank you for your support🙏🏻🙏🏻#vawa
