Online Filing- AoS and consular processing waiver
Hi community,
I am working on AoS for approved Eb2-niw from within the USA. With the recent mentioning of preferable consular processing by uscis for AoS, what has your experience been? Also, any advice of any additional paperwork that is worth including to reduce interview chances?
How long after Biometrics update did you get your green card?
Hello All,
To those that have received their green card, how long after biometrics update did you receive it? My case has been pending for almost 2years without update, I just got an update few days ago that my biometrics has been applied. How long more should I be anticipating?
I-765 under VAWA
Iām looking for some advice from anyone with a similar timeline.
I filed my VAWA case together with my I-485 and I-765 (category C09). I completed biometrics over 7 months ago, and Iām still waiting for my EAD with no updates at all.
Iām currently an international student (not from one of the travel-restricted countries) and Iām worried because I need my work authorization to continue working after I graduate.
Has anyone with a VAWA-based C09 EAD been waiting this long? When did you receive your approval?
Also, has anyone successfully expedited their I-765? If so, what reason did you use, and what evidence did USCIS ask for? Iām wondering if severe financial loss or a job offer has worked for anyone.

hiii everyone does anyone know how to get REDRESS number and FDL i know i have to get attorney but finding it online is so hard and getting appointment is harder my main problem is my lawyer is not responding so please comment if you guy can help or ignore if you have no idea !

EB-1A, filed Dec 2025, wife got her EAD but I got nothing ā anyone else?
Hi everyone. Looking to connect with anyone in a similar situation.
I'm EB-1A, from Brazil, with my I-140 already approved before filing. My wife and I filed our I-485 and I-765 concurrently on December 26, 2025.
Here's what's driving me crazy: my wife already received her EAD back in April ā but I've gotten nothing. No green card, and no EAD either. Both of ours were filed the same day, same way.
I understand the green card can take a long time, and I've made peace with that. What's really wearing me down is the EAD.
My I-765 has been stuck with no movement since January. Meanwhile my wife's went through without issue.
Is anyone else in this boat? Did yours eventually move? Anything that helped?
Honestly running out of ideas at this point. Any shared experience would mean a lot. Thanks.
