(I-730) so guys my file is at the us consulate in Johannesburg South Africa and when i contacted them about my husband’s interview information they said the following
“According to our records, NVC has sent the file to Post Johannesburg on December 20th. It will take up to 6 weeks from this time to receive the actual file and may take even longer.Please allow time for our office to receive the file. Once file is received, we will send him/you next step instructions.”
but i can’t wait since i am having an upcoming surgery. what should i do ? does anyone know if i can expedite at the consulate at this stage ?
Change of address
hi everyone! just a question if it’s fine to change my address and state before moving? i just wanna make sure i change it asap before they transfer my case to field office.
i will be moving in 2 weeks but they said uscis confirms the change of address too late. thoughts please :/

it has been 400+ days since I filed i-140 and ~300 days since approval and I still can’t file AOS! wait is too long and this is incredibly painful. i don’t know long i will have to wait. hope all this mess ends in 2025!

Hello everyone, my company filed an extension for my I-129 on September 5th in Texas center, and my visa is set to expire on January 5, 2025. Still my case status is in Case Received status. it is going to be almost 4 months now. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue?
