Brooklyn office processing time
My file was transferred to the Brooklyn office since I moved, and I’m in line to get my oath ceremony scheduled but it’s been a week and no updates yet.
Does anybody know if that office is busy, and how long it takes to get the ceremony scheduled? also, how far
in the future do they usually schedule them?

Please share timeline for U visa petition?
Please share timeline for U visa petition? I had applied in June 2021. Biometrics done in August 2022. Bonafide determination approval in December 2023. Received EAD for upto four years. Waiting for the approval now. It will really help people if we share our timeline since U visas take such a long time.

Does anyone waiting for VAWA from 2020 ?
Hi friends,
I filled my #VAWA #I360 in December 2019, case received date by uscis is Jan 3 2020
still no response it’s been long 5 years. I am thinking of sending another Congress enquiry. I think the congressman enquiry is better than the once in uscis website I believe
any suggestions. I asked my lawyers do the inquiry but no response. I know its frustrating but what to do.

The “illegal” term
oke since my case is under f2a category and as we all knew the visa bulletin is stuck for months and I have no clue when it will be continue to move again and I read lot of ppl in different apps talking about the political shifting and the terms of illegal or being illegal in the future since their case is taking longer than expected and they can’t see the end of the waiting period, it’s mentally effecting me as well since only my I-130 has been approved and I-485 still pending and I don’t know when my visa bulletin will be current and my EAD card is almost expired in just 3 months from now. My question is; would my expiration of my EAD effecting my legal status if I’m not renew it since i choose not to back to work for a while? would I became illegal while my EAD is expired and I don’t renew it while my I-130 has been approved? would the approved form I-130 helps if i didn’t renew my EAD Card?
sorry for a long sentence just feel kinda stressful after read all the political stuff recently, it’s drained me lot
