I received 3 emails from USCIS but only my I-130 status change to actively reviewing case. my I 485 status has been actively reviewing for 7months now. Hoping for approval soon

Thank God. finally, my application has been approved. PD 5/28. those who haven’t heard anything, please hang in there. Joy is coming soon. Had my interview yesterday and they gave me a sheet of paper saying to wait, my application is in review. just got an update today.

what to carry with us in case of ICE

Quick backstory : Came to the US 10 years ago on student visa and over stayed. Married to US citizen four years ago. went through severe abuse and I’m still on medication. Divorce is still pending in court. Got my EAD and Prima facie last year. I drive for work with Valid driving license with one traffic ticket. With all the news on the TV about ICE rides and deportation, I am having severe Anxiety and panic attacks. I honestly do not know what I need to carry with me in case of emergency. I tried to ask my lawyer about the same and he said I do not need to worry as I have EAD and call him if someone detains me. The only thing I know for sure is he won’t answer on time. Also, A quick Google search shows that EAD is not valid form of visa and doesn’t prove as legal status. I am not in a Financial position to go to a different lawyer and pay them. So I request everyone to please let me know what I need to carry with me all the time and how to handle the situation in case of raid. What should I tell the officers my immigration status is and what document should I provide them. or should I just be silent and give my Lawyers, phone number. I’m so confused and worried about This. Also, I have a traffic ticket from last month for a Wrong turn. I didn’t pay the ticket because There was roadwork at that time, and I had to make that turn. I have the dash cam footage so I pled Not guilty and waiting for the court date. So now I’m also worried if I go to court for this traffic ticket, will that be a problem? Will the traffic ticket or court date, put me in a priority for the deportation. Thank you everyone in advance for taking your time and answering my questions.

my ead is expires in April applied dec 21 no receipt notice till date all my stuffs will be expiring drivers license I can't work called the service center they said I can reapply am so worried as I have a baby and I don't want to be stranded please what should I do

Expedite request by congressman for humanitarian

Hi Family, i have pending vawa case that i have filed April 2023 and i got 5 yrs Ead and 1 PF so i have got email from congressman with the request form that i requested. my question is that my only elder sister who is 48 y old got 2 surgeries and her husband got surgery for oral cancer. i was raised my elder house from my childhood as their children and they has no children . this situation they need me on their side. my mom also sick that i have sent medical docs for expedite my i-131 . now i want to request to approve my vawa ASAP with this humanitarian issues. can u guys direct me whats the documentation i need to upload for congressmen and is there any good possibility? thanks wishing for everyone good luck 👌

if my spouse is already in the us should I file for the I130 for him or just adjustment of status I ve been waiting for tps sine august 17 they just said (case decision) but nothing yet
