asylum case changed to application is pending without interview.
Is anyone in the same situation? I entered with humanitarian parole, I am from Nicaragua, as you know the Trump administration paused asylum applications for people who entered recently, has the same thing happened to anyone? My case was awaiting an interview and it simply changed to pending, I understand that USCIS can award asylum without an interview but the truth is I see it unlikely although my case is strong, what do you think about this?

no RFE, no interview- just a really long wait
what are our options
can anyone help us, we have tried contacting USCIS, local congress, state senators ( didn’t get a response ), inquiry ( apparently we were still within processing time ) , actual officers at USCIS on the phone and a lawyer, the lawyer from Dallas who my wife spoke to said it is possible for us to file a i485 and i765 and I could stay there while it processes but we only have until the i130 is approved and after the 90 days I’ve been in the US, I wanna try contact a few other lawyers just to confirm if it’s true or not. I don’t care what the laws are currently I will not be missing out on Christmas away from my family again
