I just got my I-131 approved! I don’t have any plans to travel right now, but it’s good to have it. I’m still waiting for my I-130 and I-485, but it’s progress. I’m keeping my prayers up!

how long did it take for you to receive your green card after approval? my VAWA was approved a few days ago, my I-485 is the same as when I applied when I was married. any one has this situation? how long did it take after approval of VAWA?

Traveling back from Puerto Rico

Has anyone traveled back from PR since Trump became a president? I hear different stories. Online it says that you only need real ID but it also says you might go through CBP. I went to USVI in January and CBP control was mandatory for all travelers and I had to show all my US documents (Advance Parole, EAD and real ID)

is it normal to get no updates on the case status online after fingerprinting? I applied for change of status on September 27, 2024, got my biometric on October 21, 2024. my status changed to “Case is being actively reviewed by uscis “. should I expect to see something like “biometric scheduled”, “biometric received “ on my case status?

Hey! I recently got my green card approved and got it about 2 weeks later. However, they made a mistake. They used my maiden last name instead of my married one 🙄 and yes I filled all documents with my married last name and sent marriage license. I even got receipt notices and other mail from them with the married last name and then BAM! Has anyone had any experience with this? I hear the wait time for them to fix their mistake (to send back new card after I-90) is very long.

For people with PDs in 2024, how bad is our situation?

PD 3/14/2024, looking into recent trends really shows how bad the processing times have become! They still need to process all of 2023 before getting to us which probably will take more than a year. Visa expires early 2027, what are my options?
