case goes for Security Check
Hello Everyone!
PD: 12 January 2024
Can someone assist me information about security Check!
On April 8th, I received an msg from USCIS via text and email saying “we have taken action on your case” then I waited for 2 days for approval letter but nothing comes up on my uscis account. I request information from USCIS regarding my case thru email.
They replied,
Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks.
Can someone tell me how long does it gonna take them get results! Does anyone faces the same?

Hi yall, any idea of when I should expect to file for AOS (already approved I-140 NIW-EB2)? I expect FY 2026 but then the question is when I should expect for get the GC.
Another important question is if the current government will make things easier for ROW countries and if so what’s your expectations?
Should I wait or should I have my company to file for an EB1 since I have an approved O1?
Thank you everyone

N-400 & I-751 Delayed – Waived Interview but Still Waiting 700+ Days – Anyone Been Through This?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to hear from others who might have had a similar experience or insights into what could be happening with my case.
Here’s my situation:
• I filed a joint I-751 and later applied for N-400 (citizenship through marriage).
• My combo interview (for both) took place over 700 days ago with my spouse.
• Since then, I’ve heard nothing — no approval, no RFE, no denial.
• Recently, after calling USCIS and getting elevated to a Tier 2 officer, I was told that my interview was officially waived about a month ago and that nothing else is needed from me.
• I also got an email from USCIS saying “an action has been taken on your case,” but when I logged into my account, the status still says “Case is being actively reviewed.”
• My estimated wait time in the tracker briefly dropped from 5 months to 2 months, and then went back to 5 months.
• Even more confusing, the progress bar moved backward from Stage 4 (“Awaiting Decision”) to Stage 3 (“Interview Scheduled”), but no new interview is actually scheduled.
My attorney believes I may be under investigation (possibly flagged by the interviewing officer), and advised me to keep documenting my marriage in case USCIS shows up or reaches out.
Has anyone been through something similar — waived interview after a long wait, then weird system glitches, and unclear timelines?
Could this be a good sign or just internal movement?
Also, is it common to get an approval after such a long delay and no further contact?
Thanks in advance — I’d really appreciate any insight or shared experiences.
