Marriage GC Interview with Asylum Pending – What Should I Expect?
Hello Everyone,
I have my marriage based Greencard interview coming next month.
I have a pending asylum. I came to the US as F1 in 2015 and applied for asylum. I got married to my wife last year, she is a US Citizen.
Anyone has any idea what questions regarding the asylum will we be asked? And what documents to prepare.
We are really nervous!
Our lawyer is not really helpful so asking for guidance from the fb community.

asylum is a case different from marriage. so expect marriage based questions. Also expect them to ask you if you have ever worked without a work permit! say the truth it will cost you nothing. Be smarter coz they normally peruse even your asylum documents way before you meet them during the interview even though they won’t ask you questions related to it.
