marriage based interview .PD 03/12/2024
Hi! Yesterday, I had an interview at the Brooklyn field office, and they informed me that a decision will be reached within 120 days. Both my I-130 and I-485 statuses changed to "your case is being actively reviewed" at 3:40 PM, which was during the interview. What does this mean? How long do you think it will take for them to make a decision?#marriagebasedgreencard

let us pray for all those who are waiting for approval.
I need more strength to put up with my abusive spouse. I am unable to come out of this web he build. I know he toxic but I am finding comfort in this pain eventually. he still continues to give me highs and lows.

An email was sent for them taking action
Yesterday, I received an email from the USCIS saying that they took action on my case, however, When I checked on the website nothing had changed even when I checked documents and today I looked again and I found that the time line changed from taking longer than expected to 14 months, any similar cases ?? PD Nov 27 2023. US citizen filed for a spouse I130 case.

extension RFE premium
Hello, I received RFE on 02/11/2025 for speciality occupation. my attorney has already responded to the same on 03/11/2025. this is in premium for Vermont center. But the status is still the same “Request for additional evidence sent”. In how many days it is received at USCiS as the status is not changing.
CASES SKIPPED
It’s so nice to see people getting approval even before the estimated wait time. It somehow proves that things are working but I hope they’re not skipping a whole lot of cases. I can see some Aug,Sept,Oct filers posts complaining of still waiting for approval, the service has moved past their filing month and these filers are kept hanging. I’m really curious about the cause of the delay or skipped cases. Does anyone here have any idea of what make cases to be skipped or delayed past their normal processing time? Btw, congrats to the Nov 2023 filers it’s moving so fast❤️❤️❤️

Dear fellow EB2-NIW petitioners, If your petition is approved and you are interested, may be we create a group to help each other in the further process. My self petition was approved last month and I am outside US, so will proceed for consulate processing. Anyone else in the same boat?

This is crazy…🫠🫠
I filed my claim in July 2023 and received my interview on September, 2024. It's been six months, and I still haven't heard back or received any updates. So I contacted a live agent, and they told me I could file a claim after January 20, 2026. Crazy! I already received my interview. I don't know why it's taking so long to get back to me.

Accidentally missed the I-485 interview
I accidentally missed my I-485 interview appointment as I did not receive notice in post, my attorney had received it instead and I missed the communication. But USCIS has automatically sent me a revised interview schedule for march 25th-
I have few questions about interview
-Does USCIS ask explanation on missed interviews? or any proof of reasoning?
-what are the interview questions based on- only i485 information or also the vawa self petition and abuse
-I had sent medical reports along with vawa application, and didn’t receive any RFE requesting a new medical report. Do I still need to take a new medical report with me.
- is taking my attorney along for interview beneficial?
any interview questions you could share
